Here's the deal:
-Coronado Springs Resort & transportation paid for.
-Staying for 8 days/7 nights.
-Me, DH, and DD1.
-We don't eat big meals everyday. Sometimes we eat one big meal and snack throughout the rest of the day.
-No dining plan.
-Pretty much just spending money on souvenirs & food.
Question is........about how much would we need to be comfortable for our length of stay as far as spending money is concerned?
This is our first time, so we're a little inexperienced........

I would say $1000.00, just to be on the safe side.

as it's your first trip i would take as much as you can so that you can enjoy and get those first time souveniers, you can definately do it on the $1000 the OP mentioned but i'd take a buffer amount for those must haves or special dining experiences. Do you have park passes yet or is that to be added to budget ? Have a wonderful time

That amount wouldn't be "safe" with my wife!
We stayed at CSR last March for five nights with a prepaid package (resort, themepark tickets and dining plan) and we still managed to go through about $2,000.00!

I would take at least $1000.00. The souvies and food are expensive, and you usually spend much more than you think you would.
We budget $50 per person per day, not including food (usually get the dining plan) and we usually go over.
Take more than enough so you don't miss out on things you may want to do because of money. Just my .02

We were thinking maybe about $2500-$3000 just to be safe, but I figured we probably wouldn't need THAT much........we already paid for the park passes.
