I am totally new to the DIS, so I am figuring out what all the abbreviations are...we are taking our 6 and 8 year old to Disney in March for the first time. We ourselves only visited MGM once years ago. We are staying at the CBR. First question is..we saw that someone complained of birds there after booking. I am very uncomfortable with lots of birds swarming around. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, I heard you need to reserve your character breakfast ahead. My kids are not big princess fans. We were thinking of the Lilo and Stitch one. Any suggestions for a good choice for a character breakfast for that age group? Thanks. I am picking up lots of tips reading the other threads.

You will have a great vacation at CBR.

I suggest asking your resort questions on the resorts board and the character dining question on the restaurants board. You will get lots of great answers.

HI and Welcome!! We are thinking about staying at CBR also. Our dream is to stay at Animal Kingdon but we will have to just wait and see. Good Luck with the trip planning. :goodvibes

Hi There!
First of all, we have stayed at CBR and ate a lot of our meals poolside and I swear to you that we never had any problems with birds! :confused3 If you feel them, they will come of course so just do not feed them! ;) We did notice there was "invisible" wires above the tables and I'm sure that helps to keep them away.
As far as character breakfasts, I would suggest Chef Mickey's and yes, you do need to book that in advance.
