I am not talking sad like bad, but sad like you came out of it sobbing or something. I would have to say The Notebook or the ending of The Sixth Sence. You?

Jack Frost. Only movie to ever make me cry because I was little, and it wasn't too long after my parents got a divorce.

The new Charlie And The Chocolate Factory was sad. But not the saddest I've seen. I honestly don't know what the saddest one I've seen is. Steel Magnoials is pretty sad, when Shelby dies and then the graveyard scene. (I'm named after shelby in that movie, so it is a difficult scene for me. ;) ) Forrest Gump is really sad. I can't think of one that made me cry though.... :confused3

I've never seen Steel Magnolias...the movie is relatively recent isn't it? But the book is older?

I love the name Shelby, btw...my little bro was gonna be named that if he was a girl...

I would say 1990 or 1989 was when it came out. I don't know about the book though.

OMG I started BAWLING when watching that.

I was going out with my bf at that time, and when Rose jumps off the lifeboat and back onto the sinking ship to be with Jack my friend goes..."Could you imagine loving someone that much?" And I nodded my head and started bawling my eyes out :rotfl:

Awwwww that's so sweet!!!

Yeah, I was watching Titanic with my dad, and when Jack made his final
"Never give up. Promise me that you will never let go" speech I busted out crying. My dad looked at me like I was crazy.

I'm getting all teary-eyed just thinking about it!

When Jenny starts to leave him and he wakes up and calls back to her. He says something like, "I am not a smart man, but I know what love is" that was another *OMG-TEAR-* moments.

The Notebook...100%!

I also almost cried (I never cry at movies, except for The Notebook) at Finding Neverland (just the way it ends, very sad!! I won't give it away incase somebody didn't see it), and an ABCFamily movie called Searching For David's Heart. That is one sad movie!!!

There are a lot more I almost cried at, but I forget them. heh heh

Generally I'm not a sappy movie person so I know to avoid them but I saw Ladder 49 because I love Joaquin Phoenix and omg so sad it didn't help that my brother had just become a firefighter and basically anything with animals getting hurt, lost or dieing. Most recent example would be two brothers. i love tigers and checked with a friend to make sure none of them died, she lied, I cried within the first 20 mins but the end was cute.

Old Yeller is such a sad movie, I cry every time. Plus I cry when I'm watching movies that something sad happens to an animal. Like the beginning of Oliver and Company always makes me sad, because he's the only kitty who doesn't get a home...wah!
