I just booked with Enterprise for a full size car at $151 for travel to Disney 12/2-12/9. I can get $166 for the same type of car through National, plus I have EC.

What I am wondering is if it is worth going with National for the extra $15?

Also, how far from baggage claim is the Enterprise lot? I know that you have to call for a shuttle, but is it going to take me an extra hour or 2 to pick up a car from them?

Thanks

maciec, the extra $15 is worth it especially if you have EC. You walk across the street, get in your car and drive away.

Why not use one of the codes/coupons from http://www.travelcouponsonline.com/best.html to knock that National car rental price below that of Enterprise.

I came up with a total of $146.14 for your rental dates, using the hospitality discount. You might be able to even do better.

Won't Enterprise bring you your car and pick it up too? They did it here when my car was in the shop and they were super nice.

I wonder how that works in Orlando?

Thanks for the information Travelcoupons!!!! Itook your advice and booked at the lower rate. The only question that I have now is that I have EC can I still use it? Do I have to go to the counter or can I just go to the parking lot? Thanks again for your help I feel much better now!

They ask you when you book online 'Counter' or 'Emerald Aisle' service. If you selected 'EA' that is what you get and you can just walk to the garage and pick your car. If your not sure, call and check with national and give them your EA number and have it changed to aisle service. 1-800-328-1234

I just wanted you to know that when I called to change my reservation to reflect the EC they lowered my rate to $138.84!!!! I'm not sure how it worked, but when I told her what I wanted to do she changed the type of car I had reserved to an intermediate size car and told me that I had a free upgrade since I was an EC member. Don't understand it, but just as long as I get the full size car I don't care!

When you belong to EC, you go to that aisle and pick whatever car you want. So you may be able to get a full size car although you are only paying for an intermediate.
