Sorry if this has been asked before.....but I have been thinking about applying for the CP for next fall, but I am graduating in May. I know that I can still apply as long as I am in college, but I was wondering (as is my mother) what the advantages are to doing the CP after already graduating?? She's worried that this will just hinder me being able to find a job and everything.....bottom line, for anyone who's done it (especially anyone after graduation) what are the advantages that you have found??

If you absolutely love it, it's easier for you to stay at Disney and be statused as Full Time, or apply into Management Internships, or Full Time management positions.

I haven't done the CP yet, but I imagine that there are a number of advantages. Like TSR6 said, if you happen to want to stay at Disney, you can go full time or do management internships after you CP. Move on to bigger and better positions with the company. Also, there is the whole networking thing that they really stress in the presentations. Plus, the fact that having Disney as an employer on your resume looks pretty good!

I did the CP after graduation, and am still with the company. Slowly moving my way upwards, just got a promotion in my area, but not close to mgmt yet.

My CP roommate was also a post-graduation CP, and after our CP, he did a management internship, and because of that, was able to apply for a FT management position that was open, which he got. So, he took the "fast track" route, and now he's in management.
