Ok, I give up. I got as far as selecting the area I wanted to add glitter to but got stuck there.

I want to add some blue glitter to the sky in my picture of Lady and the Tramp in my signature.

I just do not understand the tutorial very well I guess. I did manage to glitter my name but cannot figure out how to do the picture with a selected area. Please make my picture glitter if possible.

Now, how the heck do you do it. I get as far as selecting the area with the magic wand. But I get stuck when it says change color pallete to patterned and select the first .gif color? How do you pick up the first color? where do you put it? I just get confused at that point. Where do you change the color pallete to patterned? I would really love to try it on my own one day.

Iris you are welcome. :)

Open the glitter file in the animation program. Right click on the first frame and choose export frame to PSP.

Click on the bucket tool on the left and then on the color pallette on the right where it says styles. Click on the arrow and four choices of paint styles will be shown. Choose the third one which is pattern. Then click for the color choice. A box will open and the glitter file that you have exported from the animation program will be one of the choices. Now you are ready to fill the selected area.

Repeat the steps for each frame of glitter.

Jackoman I don't think that I can make fireworks shoot over the castle. If you would like the castle that is in my signature, I can do that for you.

xxbballlvr54xx I use Paint Shop Pro to add glitter to the pictures. If you do not have the program, you can get a trial download at the Corel website. You will also need the animation program.
This site explains working with selections. I usually use the magic wand selection tool instead of the lasso.
