WWYD? Cruise, WDW, Seaworld

Our family is doing a land/sea vacation next October. All transfers/transportation will be handled by Disney. We would like to incorporate a day at Sea World into our trip...but I am not sure how to do it. Is there a way to rent a car at Port Canaveral? Would it be logical to add on 2 nights at hotel near SW for after the cruise and renting a car from Cape Canaveral...dropping it back off at the airport? Thanks for any suggestions!

Well I'd be a big fan of adding on to the trip if it's possible. The longer the vacation, the better. As for renting a car from Port Canaveral- I don't know about that specifically. You may want to check either the Cruise Forum or the Transportation Forum.

Thank you. I put it in this section because I was hoping someone would know of a hotel that has transfers to Sea World and the airport. I can get a limo from the port to the hotel.

yes you can rent a car from the port. When you get off the ship, there will be lots of rental car shuttle buses to take you to their facility. it is fast and easy!!! ( make a reservation ahead of time for faster service) Then a quick drive to SW. We went to SW after a cruise one year and we were at SW by 9 am when it opened..
