This is weird. I previously booked 3tickets on Soutwest I-NET Rates, I could rebook and save $260 but when entering 3 tickets needed one of legs comes up as "unavailable". But if I type in only 1 ticket, "unavailable" doesn't come up, anthing is ok. Could I get an on-line credit and just book 3 seperate times for 1 ticket each?

Thanks!!

seems you might be running into the "load capacity" for that particular fare....since you seem to be able to get it with just one person....

even trying it separately may not help you ......if it is a load capacity...

why not call the helpful people at southwest to get their input....or suggestions

I was thinking of booking each ticket under our seperate names.

Thanks for the suggestions.

renee,
The fact that it shows unavailable for 3 but available for one usually means there is only one seat available.
I just got back yesterday via a SWA flight that was virtually empty. There were no passengers in the 61-90 boarding row.
The flight down was basically the same.I get the idea people are just not showing up and not telling SWA they are cancelling.
SWA is very people friendly, perhaps you could call them and see what they can do for you via the phone.

I called on a similar question with SWA. They say there are only a certain amount of tickets for each fare rate. The return flight I wanted was not available at the lower rate for my dates. She said if I cancelled my original reservation the seats would be released and appear on the web site. The risk is someone else could grab them before I re-book. She mentioned that I should check back daily to see if the fares open up due to all of the cancellations of late. I assume you are flying our of Manchester. I have noticed the fares have bounced around quite a bit this week from $39 each way to $101 and back to $39. I am holding out until I see my specific flight before I cancel and risk it. I inquired about booking one ticket at a time and they said it wouldn't matter. You may want to book the one cheaper flight and book the more expensive ones as well. If you see the lower fare open up, then cancel and rebook at the lower rate. It is very easy to do through the web. Be advised, if you rebook through a CS rep, you will lose your double rapid rewards.

Good luck!

Update:

I called Southwest and they rebooked me on the same flights at the lower rate! I saved enough to pay for a ticket for dh and still have a $50 credit.
