Well, I guess it's official now. We closed on our VWL contract today. Our first trip home will be 5/02. I discovered this board after we made our decision and placed a down payment. I have learned a lot from all of the posts, threads, polls, etc. Many of my concerns have also been put to rest.

It is a little scary given light of the events of the last few days. However, we must all carry on with our normal lives, be patriotic, and be courageous. God bless us all!

Enough of that. I am really exicted after all of the research and anticipation to officially be a DVC member.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Our next trip is Oct. 27-and we are planning to go! Yes-it is a bit scary [the plane started heading south right over our heads-and I was in NYC on Tuesday] but we are looking forward to our trip. Good Luck!
