Oh you can so tell its your first baby!! ;)

Im afraid there are NO RESTS ever again.. sorry to be the bearer of bad news!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Oh and you remember sleeping at night? Well you can forget that too!! At least for the next three years (by which time you'll have another one, so it will all start again!) :teeth: :teeth:

Oh, and you cant go out much either.. as getting a baby sitter is expensive and a lot of hassle..
Still.. Its SO worth it.. Children are a gift! :cloud9:

Have a wonderful first christmas together!

Welcome home, now the hard work really starts! did they give you the manual on parenting when you left the hospital? no. me neither, I'm sure there must be one out there somewhere! I spent the first few weeks looking for the place where the batteries went so I could take them out and get some peace!! only kidding, good luck and have a most magical 1st christmas

Glad to hear that your little family are together again! Take care of each other and I hope that tonight goes OK.

Kaylee - my top tip would be to resist rushing round whilst Joseph is asleep and get some rest too. Make the most of Alan being around and being willing to do some work :)

Welcome to the next stage of you lives :grouphug:

Welcome home Kaylee and Baby Joseph. I know how Kaylee feels about getting home. There is nothing like your own bed even though you may only be in it for a few hours in between feeds.
Remember that this time flies by and the sleepless nights do not last forever - honest, so make the most of it.

Welcome Home to Kaylee and Joseph. Make the most of any time you are able to take rest - you will soon learn that the exhausted feeling lasts for months - even years!

Enjoy your first Christmas with your darling baby son, Kaylee and Alan.

Gosh, you had a baby!! Having problems connecting to the DIS at the mo, so havent been around much - lovely to hear your news Kaylee! Well done, your little boy is gorgeous (found the other thread)! Wonderful, wonderful news. Great choice of name - Joseph will be our little one's middle name when he arrives (great minds, obviously!!).

Hope you are getting in some naps - TIP: nap when they do, dont be fooled into thinking you must sleep at night! LOL!! It does get easier, honest!

Once again, a big congrats to you and Alan on the arrival of little Joseph!
