For those of you who don't know, I am a HUGE baseball fan, specifically the Oakland A's. Well they recently got cancer. Cancer in baseball comes from players who are hated and disrupt clubhouses. They are not only hated by fans, but many players also. There are three cancerous players, Kenny Rogers (Tigers), A.J. Pierzynski (White Sox) and our friend Milton Bradley. Now you can win with cancer, the Sox did it with A.J. but he literally killed the Giants, so many teams usually need to try them out before they fit.

I don't wanna judge my Athletics, but come on, bringing in Milton Bradley?!?!?!?! For one the guy is messed up in the head, mostly because of his name, and how he got teased as a kid leading him to hating everyone. Now he can play some good ball, but is that really worth it? We gave up a premier prospect to land a guy who could end up killing one of the best clubhouses in the majors. I really don't want to question the motives of the A's, but still.

Sorry, I needed my rant, baseball is basically my love in life, well until I get a girlfriend that loves it and disney at least to some extent as much as I do.

I don't think you can compare A.J. with Kenny Rogers and Milton Bradley. Obviously he can't be too bad, because he helped the White Sox win the World Series. I'm sorry that your team got Milton Bradley though. I'm hoping my team doesn't do something stupid, like... trading for Manny.

Sorry to hear about the cancer lol, I have never heard that expression before and I've been around baseball my whole life. I am a die-hard Astros fan and I'm just sad that we had to let the Rocket go :guilty: . Although, I didn't think he would come back anyway so its not that big of a shock......oh well. I hope we don't do something stupid and get cancer too (although I doubt we can afford it).

manny isn't that bad, hes just a bit unruly. I would gladly take him off your hands if you paid his contract, thats the problem with the A's, small market team, we are never going to have those players who stay forever. I am afraid this is our last season with Zito. Oh and AJ is that bad, he just happens to fit in Chicago, but ask any Giants fan and they will tell you how much they hate AJ.

I dont think anyone can/wants to take manny because of his attitude and payroll...

i think it is more for the payroll, most teams can deal with bad attitudes

Not true. Just look at what happened with the Eagles. They banished T.O. because of his attitude.
