College report on effect of Disney to Economy

Just wondering if anyone had any good websites for tourism information about Disney, like hard numbers or good facts that I could put into my report. I am going to try to collect enough information to have a paper on the effect of International tourism on Orlando themeparks (specifically Disney and Universal) but I might also touch up on employment numbers in the parks also. Anyone know of any websites? Or maybe you have done a report like this and have any luck with it or maybe you have a rough guideline I could see? Thanks.

Disney has more than 50,000 empoyes at Disney World, and that makes it the biggest single site employer in the world I believe

yea, looks like it is 53,000 now. Found a bunch of good info on orlandoinfo.com. I didnt know that they are the biggest single site employer though, thanks!

When Disney was buying the property they were trying to keep it secret by creating dummy corporations to keep the price down really low. When the company was found out the price for the land sky rocketed.

I have a few books on how Walt Disney World got started that has a lot of good information. If I find it I will post some interesting facts for you about the economic impact to the area.

For example the tax rate for the Animal Kingdom is $193 million dollars. How is that for an economic impact to Orlando.
