Just cancelled my airline tix

and opted for the Amtrak Auto Train. It came out to be the same price!!

Anyone else doing this?

Have not done this - but it sounds like fun. You'll get to see a bit of the country this way.

I was always a big baby anyway, and the events of the past week were just too awful. Now that I'm taking the train, I'm starting to feel excited (once again :D ) instead of scared.

I feel terrible about the airlines & their obvious losses, but I'm sure the government will do everything possible to bail them out.

Only 36 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
