:( :(

Whilst getting into the bath this morning. I fell on my Baby belly, but have been to the hospital and all is OK :)

I think I just shocked myself a bit. Do you think it might hurry baby along?? ;)

I think I just shocked myself a bit. Do you think it might hurry baby along?? ;)I think babyUK will be thinking: " Oh, it's a dangerous place out there - think I'll stay here warm and safe"!!! :rotfl: Only joking Kaylee - you must feel like you'll be pregnant for ever more. Don't worry - I'm sure it won't be long now!!!! :wizard:

Do you think it might hurry baby along?? ;)

Probably not Kaylee, although there are several things that might.

A hot curry, er..... marital relations (delicately put I thought) or a drive down a bumpy road.

And if you can achieve all three at once you will not only have a babyUK in double quick time, but also my undying admiration. ;)

Glad things are ok.

You must have given yourself a bit of a shock, Kaylee. I'm glad everything is OK - BabyUK is well padded in there so, at this stage of the game, there was probably little risk but you did the right thing getting checked out.

As for hurrying things along, there are various things you can try - Castor Oil and Raspberry Leaf tea being a couple that have not been mentioned yet - however, I suspect that BabyUK, like most, will put in an appearance only when he/she is ready.

PS If it's a boy, chances are the lazy little monkey will stay put for a while ;)

glad to hear you are ok..
how very scary...
a number of years back my sister slipped on ice, falling into some stairs and right on her baby belly....it was a very bad fall and she was terrified...
but the doctor said that babies are very well protected in there and that everything was fine....and sure enough, everything indeed was fine...

Kaylee - glad you are both ok. Towards the end of my pregnancy I just could not wait until my baby was born and everyone kept saying "when the apple is ripe it will fall" this just stressed me out more!!!

Do you know if you are having a boy or girl? The last few days of my pregnancy I went shopping for baby clothes everyday as I knew I was having a boy! It was difficult to get around though and I could not walk far as I looked like a weeble with legs!!! :rotfl2:

I tried raspberry tea and bumpy car rides-think the hot curry and long walk worked for me though!

Also a bit late but wishing you well, glad you're both ok, they're tough little things when they're inside and they're in the most protective environment of all so I'm sure he/she'll be fine.
good luck for when the real worry starts!

Different sort of fall, but on the subject of these last year the day after we came back from Florida, May I think it was, I fell down the stairs at home and fractured my right foot - was off work for 3 weeks. :)

Probably still had jet lag!

glad you are both ok. I remember falling when i was having DD it really shakes you up. I went 4 days over but went into labour when DH gave me a shock i had cooked sunday lunch and we were just sitting down to eat when he spilt boiling hot gravy over himself not good for him but it worked for me!!!!

Glad you and babyuk are ok, It must of given you a nasty shock. Take care over the next few days and no more baths.

I fell a week before i was due with Lucy, but it was outside the hospital and i was on my way on for a scan and checkup but i was still very shaken.

Hope baby makes an appearence soon :)

Oops, you don't want to be doing that! ;) I fell down the stairs at work when I was heavily pregnant with dd1. I've still got a lump. Not the baby you'll be pleased to know! She turns 21 in January. It honestly seems like yesterday, so make the most of every moment - even these last few agonising waiting days.

Love and hugs.

Kaylee glad to hear you and the bumo are ok.
I think if I were you I would stick to hot curries to get things moving than somersaults out of the bath.
Please take care. I can't wait to see the pics of Baby UK. :grouphug:

Hi Kaylee, sorry you still aren't moving yet, methinks Babyuk is a boy, they're always lazy!
Hopefully it'll happen soon and we can all coo over our junior moderator by christmas!

sending you relaxing vibes as these babies only seem to come when you are distracted with something else. Have you tried bouncing on a yoga ball? That was great for me. If nothing else, I felt like Tigger while watching my Friends marathon :rotfl2:

Hope to hear some good news soon,

I know it's a bit far for you to go but DD2 arrived the day after I climbed the Cerne Abbas Giant in Dorset. It's a fertility symbol and I'm convinced did something to egg her out - 2 weeks early!

Have you anywhere similar near you - it must be worth a try! Otherwise a long walk can help.

I got excited Kaylee - when I saw you'd posted I thought something might be happening!

Are people ringing up asking if there is news (like you or Alan wouldn't have called them to tell them you'd had the baby!)

As DS was a planned section most people knew the date but DD was overdue and we got so fed up sitting round we went to the cinema (to sit round) DH's friend from work rang us at home - no reply and was so disappointed when I answered DH's mobile 'No we aren't at the hospital we are going to watch Harry Potter!'

Best wishes - it will all be over soon :goodvibes

I hope Babyuk arrives soon, you must be so uncomfortable. When my boss had her Son he was 3 weeks late! So I agree that Babyuk could be a boy trying to get as much sleep as possible in there. Sending :grouphug:

Glad you're ok Kaylee, if fed up "waiting". Babies will only come when they're ready, as I found out.

I tried all the usual tricks - cleaning, hoovering, digging the garden, driving up and down speed bumps in the road very fast, really hot curries (that just gave me the you know whats and even worse indigestion ;) ) - even tried lots of s-e-x :rolleyes1  :rolleyes1

Katie would only come when SHE was ready (with a little bit of inducing from the hoppital).

It's all worth it in the end and you and Alan should just enjoy the peace and quiet now while you can

I tripped on the stairs and fell down them when I was 6 months pregnant; I tore some tendons in my ankle and sprained it pretty badly but my daughter was fine. I was really shook up!

I think we must have shock absorbers in us to protect the babies...
