Florida--camper title transfer and tag question

WE are proud owners of a new to us--but 20 year old (though decked for its time) Jayco pop-up....WOO HOO!

The former owners delivered it and the title today. We get our hitch on Wednesday.

How do I go about doing the title transfer and getting the tag?

Sadly hubby's away--so no camping until spring--but HEY...it came with A/C :rotfl2: .

Go to your nearest car tag place with the signed title. They'll tell you what you need other than that. When we got our car tags changed to Florida it took about 3 trips!! The motorhome still has Tennessee tags, though.

call ahead and see if you can make an appointment, some tax collectors offices do this and it might save you some waiting time, avoid Tuesday and the end of the month, they seem to be a busy on those times, at least in our county.
