American Express discount?

When we were in Disney a few years ago we were offered a discount on purchases in Downtown Disney if we paid by American Express, does anyone know if this still applies? :dog:

Unfortunately not - Amex used to be "the preferred card of Walt Disney World" but thats been replaced by the Disney Visa which can only be gotten by US residents.

Yes, David is correct. There used to be a whole host of benefits for AMEX card holders. It's a shame that the Disney Visa is only open to US residents.

not US residents.....but those who have a bank account and a mailing address in the US....you don't actually have to live there (our mailing address is a PO box.....rest assured we don't live in the box)....

Annual Pass holders get a discount at World of Disney among other things if that helps.

I wouldn't buy one just to get the discount though :) (well, unless you will be spending thousands in which case it could be worth it ;) )
