Has anyone stayed at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes? [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi-- we were planning a trip to Disney next year and just found out my husband has a conference there for work! I am a little sad to not be staying onsite, but this will help with his costs the nights of the conference-- so we will stay at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes instead. Has anyone stayed there before? Did you like/ not like it? Do you remember if you got any special rates as part of a conference? We are going the week after Thanksgiving 2006. Thanks in advance for your help!

We have stayed at the JW Grande Lakes twice and really enjoyed it. In fact it's one of my favorites. The pool (which is heated) is like a lazy river. The beds were very comfortable. We ate at Citrons and the food was very good.

We also had a spa day. Fabulous!!!
