I read in our newsletter last night that they're going to start offering carriage rides at SSR in January. Does anyone know whether you need (or will be able to get) advance reservations for that?

Oh my gosh!!!! That would be wonderful..... I still have almost a year to go to our trip and I'm getting so excited. They are really making SSR much more of a competitor to the other resorts. I'm glad they are putting some effort there now that the resort is approaching completion!

Our Winter 2005 Vacation Magic p. 24 says

"Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will offer horse-drawn carriage rides through the Resort for $35 beginning on Jan 2, 2006. Each 25-minute ride can accommodate as many as four adults (or two adults and three children). For details or reservations, call (407) WDW-PLAY (939-7529)."

So I guess I actually had the answer to my own question...I was just too excited to read all the way to the end of the blurb! :rolleyes1

Just called to book this, we will be there Jan 9-13 and no info from 407 WDW PLAY yet, what a bummer, I will try again next week

This is from the Winter 2005 edition of Vacation Magic, volume 14 #4. The cover story is "The Waterful World of Disney". The only other text on the front says "a member publication" and "news, perks, secrets".

I personally think this is great. We my DW and I dont have small children anymore ( there married) so this will be very romantic. :love: Then we can hit the spa.
