Becks, I'm going in 20 days time and I'm packing already. I've got the suitcase in my bedroom. So far I've packed our thermals, heat packs, new gloves, hats and toiletries. Isn't it soooooooooo exciting

urgh.. i always want to pack early.. then all-of-a-sudden it's the night before... (and in the case of going to spain in march, i was drunk ;) ) so i wind up doing it @ stupid o'clock the night before!

Of course you can - just don't pack your best undies at the bottom of the case and then spend ages wondering where you put them on Friday night.

You're nearly there now and packing might make it come round a bit sooner:flower:

I would say start now, it may lessen your chance of forgetting something.

ah.. i will anyway... always do... and it's generally something like pajamas... or a towel...

infact, i forgot to pack my PJs when i went to work in Pompeii for 6 weeks... now that was fun.. staying in a tent for six weeks... with about 100 other archaeologists on the site.. and i had NO PJS!!! lol :rotfl:

I'll be packing a few hours before I pick Denise up and then drive up to Ashford. I still have to get my thermals - I was going to get them from a website that someone linked to but I've left it so late that they may not come before the holiday with the Christmas shopping rush. Luckily M&S have a good and reasonably priced range so we'll probably get them from there instead.

I'm not going until NEXT November - I haven't got as far as getting the case out but I've a box hidden on the top of the wardrobe with stuff in for my trip LOL

i put some stuff in the bag i'm planning to use as hand luggage - i.e. my passport and a little pressie i bought me and my best bud (lol, pink, heart patterned eye mask things - we're going on the coach... it takes FOREVER) oh and the plug adapter... lol...

last year i got a call from her two days before.. "I can't find my passport..." OMG her mum knew where is was but her mum was literally on a plane from LA and we couldn't get in touch with her.. i was beside myself... this year... i get a text yesterday saying she's lost her E111 card thingie... but they're gonna send a new one.. hopefully in 4 working days!
