Help I NEED some pixie dust!!

First thing is that I know I am lucky to have all my family safe and healthly and that I sent out my prayers to our country and to those who are hurting .. with that said I still need to vent. I have planned this trip for over a year It will be our first and I wanted it to be perfect.. then came the sharks.(we have planned to spend time at the gulf and the atlantic) now we will be to afraid to swim. then it was the tropical storms (I could see a weeks worth of rain, what fun our days on the beach will be..) next the terrorist attacks ( although we are still going we will be afraid on the planes and nervous at WDW) and finally I ( who have been well all year ) pick this week to come down with the cold from #@!*. We leave friday on a 6:30 am flight and here I am sick as a dog THANKS for letting me vent...

We leave in 16 days. I think Im just getting over my cold. Hopefully my female visitor will be here next week. I have zanax for the plane. And just today I made a time to have drinks with a DIS buddy the day we both fly and check into our resort.

Relax....

It's only Tuesday, by Friday, your cold will be much better, and you will be better immune to new stuff. I always say better be sick the week before then the week you are there.

The sharks.....I've read many times there were actually more attacks last year by this time. It all started with that poor little boy, and so the media has just jumped on that as the story of the summer.

The weather last I checked is much better, just scattered T-storms which is to be expected this time of year. It does not mean it will rain the entire time, maybe just an hour or two in the afternoon if at all, besides, it makes for less crowds and cooler temps.

I suspect air travel is now safer than ever.

Try to get plenty of rest and look forward to your trip!
