Ok, I will try my best to get that pic from the lake. We have stayed in the Lodge all day. It has been raining off and on so me and the kids have played several games of cards and played checkers in the Iron Spike Room. Enjoyed Hot Choc. from RF while playing.

We are getting ready to head over to MVMCP. Eating at CP at 4. Meeting hometown friends there (also DVCers, staying at OKW).

Temps have been about 77 everyday. Lows in high 50s.

Owning here makes life so pleasant. After several trips, rainy days arent a big deal. Cause "home" is such a sweet place to hang around.

Sorry for the long delay.

MVMCP turned out great! It rained off and on maybe last hour and half. But not enough to get you wet.

I tried taking pictures of our balcony with lights but they arent turning out very well. Might try taking from inside room and will try taking some in daylight.

We also have a few shots of Exp. Everest with them testing the cars. That is gonna be a sweet ride!

We went to Epcot yesterday and MK last night for a while. Crowds are very low. MK on Sun. was great. Couldnt believe there was hardly anyone there. Im sure this weekend will pick up a little with Fl residents.

The Lodge looks great all decorated up. We werent here last Dec so dont know if these are new...tepee decorations on tree in lodge.

DW is telling me its time to go, heading to Chef Mickeys for breakfast.

officer tigger I havent seen 10 day but Sun looks real nice. It has been cool but Sun will be warming back up. Accuweather.com has seemed pretty accurate so far.

We are heading to MGM now. Went to Ohanas last nite, last minute decision after MK. Might try to see parade taping tommorow at MK at 5.

I believe you are right! Nobody else has lights up on the 4th floor but us. We will knock and come see you folks. Holler at us if you see us on the balcony. We have the balcony next the one with lights also(not the one between us with lights)

This is TammyNC (jimmytammy's wife) - If you are asking about internet log-in, we are using the high speed hook-up and then going to our normal homepage that we have at home.

If this isn't what you are asking, let me know and I'll try to answer better.

I'm wondering about this "high speed hook-up" -- I guess I didn't know that something like that was available at VWL. What are the requirements? the costs? What is provided, versus what must we bring from home? That sort of thing. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

High speed was recently added at VWL. It is the same cost as at all the other DVC's. $9-95 for a 24 hour period. We usually buy one day and skip one before connecting again. Works well for us.

It's wired. You have to bring an ethernet cable.
Or I believe you can borrow one from Mousekeeping.

Hey all! Thanks for replying to Bickers ??s. Bicker, we use the cable that VWL provides. Just call Mousekeeping and they will bring it up.

We just got back from MK. It was a madhouse!! Friends from back home are leaving in a little while to head home :wave2: We have really enjoyed spending time with them this past week.

AnnieT and her DH Alan have spent time with us today. They are heading back up from RF in a little bit. Always fun to spend time with fellow DIS friends. We are going to hang around the Lodge for awhile.

Saw Regis and Kelly. DS11 got so excited seeing Regis. Im like Son, you have seen Andy Griffith and didnt get that excited! Oh well.

And we met magicalmcwho in the hall this morning. DISers are such nice folks.

Eventually I will get DW to post a few pics. I am computer/electronic illeterate :badpc:

Thanks for posting the photos! Expedition Everest was all wire and track the last time we were there last December. I can hardly wiat to ride it, and I'm hoping for a soft opening when we are there in early March! :cool1:

We talked with a CM at EE the other day. She told us a soft opening would be happening in March. So I will keep fingers crossed for you that it happens early in March. We will be there the last week of March.

We went to DQ yesterday for the 1st time ever. We really enjoyed it. The kids had a real blast. Casey was real sad to leave. Pirates was hands down fav for all, though DD had a hard time deciding between it and CyberSpace Mt.

Went to Epcot and had dinner at San Angel. Then waited for Illuminations. They have a very special extended Christmas fireworks ending. Very moving indeed.

We are heading back to Epcot in a short while, then over to MK for dinner at Liberty Tree. I think I have gained 20 lbs. since being here ;) , but I sure am enjoying myself.

We are doing CP Wed. night. DD found out John Stamos will be doing this on the 25th-27th. Secretly, we think she has a crush on "Uncle Jesse" :cloud9: . Not sure and she keeps denying it.

So with this in mind, she has a request. If anyone will be at one of his CP shows, she will gladly pay for a recording of him doing this. :rolleyes: There, the deed is done. Its out there. I have done my part. Now I wipe my hands clean of this messy situation.
