Well I have gotten my letter and paid my depost now it is just a matter of waiting til Feb. I was wondering if anyone else is arriving on Feb 1st for the Spring Advantage Program. If so drop me a line. :cool1:

my roommate and i are getting there the 1st too. :rotfl: i was a little bummed that i could not get a sooner date. feb 1st is so far away. :sad2: But hey a least we are going :cheer2: do you guys know what classes you want to take??? i think that the leadership class looks fun a lot of people like the marketing u one they all kind of look interesting thought i am really looking forward to the workshops though :Pinkbounc: .... BIG decision... hmmmm ....

There are a few groups that are getting there after us. I can't wait til we arrive it does seem like it is so far away! :hourglass As for classes while I am down there I'm not taking any because I am taking online classes through my University.

I am coming on February 1st ... yea we may be arriving later, but we get to stay later too nice little summer in Florida is always good. I am wicked excited. I am coming from Upstate New York, so I get to escape the snow yeaaaaa. Its also my first time away from living with my parents so its gonna be interesting

Summers in Florida arent that great I have been there before in aug. It gets really hot. But I cant wait, It will be fun. Who all is driving down, and what time do you plan on being there to check in?

Maybe if everyoe is planning on being down the night before we could all meet up for dinner or something. :grouphug:

My mom and I are driving down, planning on staying at a cheap motel near Disney the night before. I think dinner is a great idea.

I am coming down the day before Feb 1 too but I am staying at All-Star w/ the fam. But dinner and getting together totally sounds cool! Maybe we could meet at the Downtown Disney Micky Ds?? Its free to get in for everyone who may or may not have a ticket that day and we will all have enough room to hang out and get to know eachother the day before we all check in. We can nail down a time once everyone is either in town or is closer to being on their way.

Hey I think that getting together is great and Downtown Disney is a great idea. Since I am thinking a big area and something everyone will be able to get to, I am also thinking cheap!!!! for food or drink. So my thought is under the MacDonald’s arch. I know kind of lame but, its there and its cheap and everyone knows it. There are also tables there to sit. We could meet then decide if we want to stay or go somewhere else. I would think we could meet on the later side to give everyone a chance to get there like 6pm or 7pm. This is just a thought since we dont know what time people are getting in. Any thoughts? :chat:

I am all for that! Under the arches sounds good. I will be ariving on Jan 31 and staying at All Star Movies w/ my family. However the timing is not as good for me because we have made plans to eat @ Boma (or somewhere in Downtown Disney) for dinner. Maybe we can get an early reservation or I will be a little more than fassionably late lol. But yeah I hope we can all meet up for a nice chat!

How bout wearing a Disney Pin? Its something a lil more discreat than a rose or carnation yet its not TOO tourist-y and its festive! Also the pins are reletively inexpensive, and highly accesable if you don't have one already (the coolest ones are in the jewlery shop in the Wide World of Disney or you can find them in a Disney store or your hotel) so w00t. I can't wait to meet ya'll @ WDW!!!

My egg is scary, i got rid of the foot it kinda bothered me!!!! PINS i think that is a great idea only, we just have to be careful alot of people wear pins. now that would be funny someone would just walk up and say feb. 1 oh i am so excited to me you and it would be a person who thinks that you are attacking them and they would run in fear.

Well I will be wearing a Finding Nemo pin with Dory on it. Besides really sereous pin traders (or not so sereous pin trading guests) wear lanards right? or have them on hats or whatnot right? That was what I remembered. If anyone else has a better/different sugestion I will be happy to go with that!

Hi everyone. I'm new to this whole disboards thing. My parents always talked about it, but I never actually did anything. Today I decided to join. I'm arriving Feb. 1st and will be workin in operations. I can't remember off the top of my head who said they were staying in the All-Star Movies resort, but my dad and I will be staying there as well. We won't be getting there until around 6 or so, but maybe sometime that night we could meet up. Plus, if anyone else wants to chat before moving in (soon), my AIM name is meggamo09. I would love to hear from anyone! I don't know anyone else that's in the program, so it would be nice to at least talk to people before getting there. Can't wait!!!

I am staying in ASM! But to clue you up we are all meeting between 6 and 7 under the Golden Arches of Mc Donalds in Downtown Disney and we are all wearing a Disney Pin.

I know I am going nuts with anticipation! I am almost all packed besides my stuff that I need between now and then. I leave here in about a week (we are driving and stopping to see my sister in Baton Rouge for her birthday and I am visiting my boyfriend in Pensacola). Have an awesome day!

hahaha!! I can completley relate to being glued to the computer! The little icons made me laugh out loud!! I hate unpacking too, so that's why I just left everything in the boxes when I moved home from school.

Oh...I am so envious of all you!!! When I was "home" this past December...I realized how much I want to be a CM at Disney!! Unfortunately...I cannot get away from school right now...but someday down the line I will!!! Have an awsome time...and I expect reports back on what a great time you all are having!!

I feel the same way...when I was there in December every CM I saw just seemed to be having such a good time and I really wish I was going down there. I agree, I also want to hear about how your time goes!!!

You all must be getting really excited, only a week away till your check-in!

I know that I for one am a big computer geek and I will be checking in with the DIS pretty much all the time- so you can expect to hear from me atleast!
