I was just over at Mousesavers and reading her info on rates and discounts. She breaks down the Disney "seasons" with corresponding resort rates, but when I was looking at the typical AAA "percent-off" discounts, there is no mention of the new "pre-holiday" period. I know it says AAA discounts aren't usually available during Holiday season, but does anyone know about PRE-holiday?? I'm curious if anyone here has gotten a AAA discount for say early December? If it matters, I'm looking at room-only, not package.
TIA!!

I could be wrong, but I'm reasonably certain that the only resort with a "pre-holiday" season is the FW campgrounds. I think the price difference during that period and value season is so minimal that I can't imagine the percentage discount would be that different for AAA, to the extent AAA is even available for campsites.
As for AAA rates in early and mid December, I usually book early, but I haven't had any problem.

Ugh!!!...wouldn't that figure - that's where we'll be staying! Explains why I didn't see more info on it, though. Yes, the price difference for a campsite is only $4 higher for "pre-holiday" over Value. It will still be reasonable even if I can't get a AAA rate, but we've got to try for all we can! :goodvibes
Would anyone else like to chime in with why FW (if that's indeed the case) is the only resort with a Pre-holiday season?!?!? :confused3

We're staying at GF this Dec 3 - 10. When I booked it this past May, I asked if any AAA discount and got 20% off the hotel price!
