I'm booking from 2/7-2/14 and getting what breaks down to $110/night, but if I had checked in on 2/4-2/11 I would have a rate of $88/night the entire stay, shouldn't the crossover dates 2/7-2/11 be at the cheaper rate of $88 instead of the $110?
I understand the later I stay the closer I'm getting to President's Day and the rate goes up, but why should I be penalized for the earlier dates?
Do they give cheaper rates for those doing Saturday-Saturday dates? Are mid-week check-ins higher?

Value season runs until February 15, so it doesn't seem to be the dates that are causing the price difference. Maybe it is the type of room available for your dates - perhaps only preferred is available?

According to the passholder site there is an additional discount for stays booked 1/16-2/4. If your stay began on any of those dates (1/16-2/4) then your entire stay would be at that rate (Moderate standard room @ $88/per night). Since your stay begins after that time period you receive the "normal" value BRP rate of $110/per night.
We originally booked 1/10-1/21 at CBR and when the new 1/16-2/4 BRP rates came out we had to have WDW break up our reservation into two (1/10-1/16, and 1/16-1/21) to take advantage of the discount. (It was NOT automatic!!! :smooth: )

Ugh. And to think that the only reason I didn't do the extra-value dates is because we would have missed the Buzz ride that doesn't re-open until 2/8 and my 5yo would have been so upset. So it's basically costing us an additional $150 to make sure we get on the Buzz ride. Oh well, worth it in the long run I guess.
