Ain't It Cool News (http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=10213) has a great summery of Pixar's latest shareholder meeting up. It discusses the position Pixar is in now, a general schedule of upcoming films, Pixar's relationship with Disney & possible senarios once the Disney/Pixar contract ends, and the campaign for Monsters, Inc. It's a lot of information in one article, but all of it looks good.

Wow, lots of good information. Lets hope that Disney and Pixar can work out a new contract once the current one ends. I personally cannot wait for Monsters, Inc. !! It looks like they have another hit on their hands!!

I agree that the relationships are complementary. I sincerely hope that they can extend the relationship and that Eisner drops his ridiculous position that TS2 didn't count as a theatrical release.
That said, I hope Pixar can maintain its quality as it steps up production. IMHO, the three Pixar movies are among the best ever associated with Disney.

Amen.
TS, TS2 and Bug's Life were all excellent features. Disney should realize what a good thing they have and not insult Pixar by claiming TS2 doesn't count in the agreement.
Pony up the money to create a new relationship that Pixar will be happy with in order to continue the realtionship. The two companies profit from each other. Pixar puts out an excellent product which Disney then parlays into bigger business through products, theme parks, marketing, and "synergy".
However, if Disney isn't careful another studio would love to have a relationship with Pixar. Several studios have tried to break into animated features and would love to have good product served to them on a silver platter (Universal, Warner Bros., DreamWorks)
