With 5 children in tow (which rules out hotels), If a small community of villas were to be built around Val de Europe I wonder how many people on here would actually use them?
I have been looking for a cottage or house within a few km's from DLP, along with my sister and her family and we have so far not found any!?
It is so easy in Florida with Kissimmee etc... but seems maybe there isn't the market at DLP?

I put "marne-la-vallee gites" into Google and it came up with quite a few such as http://www.bonadresse.com/alist_bed-breakfast-disney.htm. There are a lot of farmhouses around DLP which offer accommodation.

Agree Michael. We used Davy Crockett Ranch for the reason of numbers.
Have a look here (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g187144-d282519-Reviews-Marriott_Village_d_Ile_de_France-Ile_de_France.html) for details about Marriot and also this (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g187271-d289465-Reviews-Pierre_et_Vacances_Residence_Le_Centre-Val_d_Isere_French_Alps_Rhone_Alpes_OvertureUKhrin t.html) for Pierre et Vacances.
There might be accomodation at this site (http://www.frenchholidayhomes.com/regionpage.asp)
