So excited! Starting to plan in earnest now, and a few questions have surfaced. The most important - is there WIFI internet access at the Sequoia? If so, is it in the rooms or just the public areas, and how much does it cost. I do freelance info work, and I have an ongoing news watch that can't be interrupted for vacations... so.... I'll have my laptop on a Disney vacation for the first time ever! :( It's not so bad - I'll just check once in the morning and again in the evening, but I need to know where there is reliable access.. Anyone?

Also, anybody know about Panoramagique? (Am I spelling that correctly? I meant the hot air balloon... ) Is is open in December?

I'm so excited now... this is the first time I've booked a trip so last minute! I have to keep reminding myself it's really just around the corner!! (Dec. 12).

Hi Jody

Can't help you with internet access I'm afraid but might be able to help a little with Panoramagique. The booth where you buy the tickets (edge of the lake, in front of Hotel New York) has pictures on showing you whether it can go up depending on the wind speed. When we were there a couple of weeks ago, it didn't seem to go up at all for the first couple of days, but the next couple of days it went up all day and into the evening.

It's very strange as several people have said it wasn't going up even when there was no breeze, but there was a fair bit of breeze when we went on it and it was still going up in the evening. So it might just be luck but since you're going for 6 nights I think you have a decent chance. Just hope you don't end up clinging on for dear life like me!

Thanks so much for that Rhiannon! Do you think it was worth the price to go up in the balloon? Did you enjoy the experience?

The balloon was one of the highlights of our trip :) I'd suggest it as a must do unless heights are not your thing ;)

Great to see the park, resort in a whole new way :goodvibes

Reid thanks for that! Then I take it your little ones went up as well? We are not particularly afraid of heights and it looks like a really fun thing to do. I hope it will be running while we're there.

All of them went up, although initially DS5 was the only one wanting to do it. DD's 8 and 3 couldn't wait once we got to pay for the tickets :)

It was 12 euros each on Panoramagique. I loved it but Rhiannon was not particularly keen as she didn't really feel safe hence the "clinging on for dear life"!! You do get brilliant views from up there - I'd definitely recommend it.
