I'm going to be at WDW in January with my DH and fam. DH loves hot tubs, but I've never seen them listed anywhere as a feature. Are there any? Just at the higher end resorts? We're staying at Pop Century. Thnks for any info.

They have them at the Deluxe & Moderates but I don't recall them at the Values when we were there a couple of years ago

Definitely go for the hot tubs. Well worth the extra. Nothing like soaking after a long day of walking.

They call it a spa so that might be why you don't see it.

oh no... don't do it... don't open that can of worms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically - pool hopping is a hot issue on the DIS. Many arguments and heated discussions have been spawned on the Resorts Board and people posting "innocent" questions are jumped and flamed all over.

Pool hopping is not permitted unless you are DVC owner, many resorts will kick you out of the pool if you are not a guest there.

If a hot tub is something important, spend the extra money and go to a moderate resort. Failing that, get the magic plus pak with your tickets and hit the water parks. I don't think there's a hot tub, but you'd have fun on the water slides!

Does anyone know if any of the resort fitness facilities have hot tubs? I remember having to use the pool ones at AKL, but I was wondering if the GF has an indoor whirlpool. I ask because I think you can pay a fee, and use the fitness facilities at any resort. Not the pools, of course, but the exercise equipment, sauna, steamroom and spa (if any)? If any have a hottub, this might be the solution to the OP's problem, since I think the fitness fee is less than the difference between a value and a moderate resort.

None that I have been in have them and I have been in OKW VWL and BWV. They are only ever by the main pools. For the best hot tub on property go to Coronado Springs it is the larges one on the grounds and is by far the best hot tub at any of the resorts.
