oops sorry!! i put my loss on the other thread..here it is..im now 3 lbs this week,,12 total!
Well i just weighed myself...my grandmother decides to tell me now that the scale is off......but either way, a loss is still a loss!!
so i started this thing at 163 lbs and i just checked and im down to 151...so that is a 12 lb loss total! I cant believe it..i. guess not losing anything last week helped me this week

I am sooooo excited to see the live finale next week after last night's episode! :) I am soooo torn about who I want to have win, I kind of lean towards Seth right now though I am nervous because they should a "recent" blip from Suzy & Matt but nothing from him (Matt kinda scared me with his growly "I'm gonna win!!" LOL hahaha!)
But forget the show, look at all the great numbers being put up on here! Wow! So impressed with this group!!! Keep up your great work everyone!! :)
(Oh, and Jennifer, I am down a total of 36 in this challenge now, 33 was last week :) hehehehehe!)

I had lost 1 lb each of the last 2 weeks for a total of 20 lbs gone. :banana:
Went to the gym for 60 min today. It is actually getting addicting. They are closed tomorrow so I will have to do something at home.

I'm thinkin Suzie is going to win, they showed that quick clip of her and she looked unbelievable! Did anyone see the after pics of Andrea? I tried to get online last night but the site was very very slow. Shocking I know! :rotfl:

The show last night was so good! I have to keep tissue beside me when I watch it. I just cry and cry. Maybe that's why my sinuses are killing me today? LOL I'm torn between Matt & Suzy to win. Matt because he just deserves it and Suzy because she's a chick and so am I. (I know...I'm being sexist.) I'm so glad that they are doing a Biggest Loser 3.
Jennifer ~ I did see Andrea's video this morning and she's lost around 60 lbs. She looks really good! She's real pretty.

Purple team, I have a question about exercise. Does anyone else NOT get an endorphin rush after exercising? Everyone says that exercise is great and makes you feel good, etc., but I get nothing. I go do it, but I don't enjoy it and I don't feel particularly happy or energetic afterwards. Any ideas?

I exercised 30 minutes Wednesday and 45 minutes today.
Jana - I'm just now starting to enjoy exercising. In fact, I've even got myself smiling a few times! I think you just need to keep at it, but at the same time, don't burn yourself out! You also might try different things to see what you like. Good luck!

You guys are doing great! I haven't been exercising this week. Last Sunday I woke up dizzy and with a slight fever. I finally was able to get into the doctor today and she thinks that it may be an infection so she gave me antibiotics since I've had a cold for over 3 weeks. Plus I told her I'm leaving in a week and didn't want to go on an airplane sick. hehehe Anyway, it must be working. After only one dose, my temp is back down in the 98's. Hasn't been there since before Sunday. :cool1:
Oooh, I'm listening to the radio and the song Christmas Shoes is on. Waaaaaaaaaahhh :sad:

It helps to hear that you guys didn't/don't always enjoy exercise-instead of hearing how great it is and how good it feels. Thank you. I needed that bit of encouragement this morning.

Jana - It took me a few weeks to really get into it but now I miss it when I can't go, I feel so blah because I haven't worked out since Wednesday. I canm't wait for Monday morning!!!
I could also be feeling blah because I am having a carb hangover from three bad days... baaaaaaaad days... I'd rather not say anything else about them! They are gone! (I hope!!) I am sure their effects will be felt Tuesday! :(

Maybe that's what's going on with me too Mike - too many carbs and too much junk. I am soooooooo tired I don't want to move!
Jana - sometimes I feel great after exercising and sometimes I don't but I at least always know I've done something good for myself. :) I definitely do not get the "high" some people talk about though. I usually have to force myself to workout. Keep at it - your doing something great! I've found that I like it a LOT better now that I have an mp3 player to listen to while I'm working out. I was shocked at the difference it makes!

Mike--Sometimes I miss exercising when I don't go, but I feel more of panic, I guess. I'm going though!
jennz-I know I'm doing a good thing and I'm staying motivated. Now I just need the scale to move. I've thought about getting an mp3 player, but (now I'm going to sound old) I don't understand how they work! There are two televisions at the gym-one playing ESPN and the other on MSNBC. Sometimes this is ok, other times it's not.
I'm following the orders of my personal trainer and have 350 minutes in so far this week but I haven't even lost half a pound! I'm going to increase my water again and see what happens.

i havent done too much exercising...about 15-20 min a day..but im leaving for disney on tuesday and have been really busy--i know , excuses, excuses!! but im planning on doing exercising in disney,,added to all the walking im going to do...im going to try and find my pedometer to bring!

Happy Monday everyone! I have to admit I was somewhat leary to post anything because I ate so much over the long weekend!! However, you guys are going to keep me honest. So far today I had an on plan breakfast. The problem is I am already hungry. I think my body got used to eating a lot! I did get in walks three of the four long weekend days.
Let's all get back on track today!!! No bagels!! (That was for me!!) No leftover pie!! (That was also for me, but my DH and I finished it off last night!)
Jana - I 'm with you on not knowing how an MP 3 player works!! My DH sets it up before my walk!! :rotfl: It really does help. Get yourself one for the holidays, and then find some time when you can really sit down and read directions or have someone help you with it!

C'mon all, get psyched tomorrow is our last Biggest Loser Challenge weigh in!!! Jillian would call today our "last chance" work out day, so why not treat every day like it's your last chance to get healthy, that way you don't put anything off! I saw the movie of "Rent" this weekend and as when I saw the stage production one line stays with you, "No day but today!" So you worked out yesterday or you did bad yesterday... No day but today matters at this exact moment! So you plan to work out tomorrow or to take a day off, deal with tomorrow tomorrow, No day but today!!! :) Like I always say, making those good choices moment by moment adds up to the big victories! :) I know I will be up in weight tomorrow, but that is for tomorrow! Today I will try to make the best choices for me!!! :)

K&K's Mommy - I think you're right in that it DOES take time to get back into our healthy ways as far as not being hungry goes...make some good choices! Great job walking too.

I'm very motivated again...I saw Extreme Home Makeovers last night and that poor Paulita with cancer. I'm am SO back on track, I survived cancer and now what am I doing to my body? I don't want to die because of neglect! Plus I've been so tired, I guess you are what you eat is true.
Last chance workout day - bring it!
I'm voting for a BL support thread until Mike and Jen get back from the World. Hey you guys do you have an intinerary planned? Maybe we can walk the parks with you. That would give me a daily goal...anyone with me?

Actually I'm going to the Incredibles on Ice this weekend (my reason: DD's brownie troop & of course I volunteered to be a chaperone! :rotfl: ) and am excited - they're "going" to the MK and from the previews there will be the Pirates of the C, the ballroom ghost from the HM among others. I'm looking forward to it! The night before we're going to the Jump5 concert, another Disney favorite.

* 10:30am - Arrive at MCO, walk to Magical Express
* 12pm - Arrive at Pop, get Key to Kingdom (too early for room)& head to Disney Studios. Do everything there! hehe :)
* 6pm - View the Osbourne Lights
* 8pm - Bus to AKL for dinner at Boma, view all AKL holiday decorations
* 11pm - Back to Pop to get my room & bed!
Tuesday:
* 7:30am - Bus to MK for 8am breakfast at Crystal Palace
* 9am - MK opens, have fun!
* 1pm - Meet friend for lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe, view Wilderness Lodge holiday decorations. And then visit Holiday decs at GF, Poly & Contemporary.
* 6pm - Dinner at Tony's Town Square before MVMCP
* 7pm - MVMCP!!!! :)
* 1am - Back to Pop!
Wednesday:
* 7am - Taxi to Poly for 7:30 breakfast at Kona Cafe
* 8:30am - Monorail to Epcot for opening! Run to Soarin, ride it and get a fast pass
* 11:00am - Figure out getting to DTD, I am thinking walking to Boardwalk through International gateway and then bus to DTD
* 12pm - WISH meet at Earl of Sandwich!! :)
* Back to Epcot for Holidays around the World Showcase, tree lighting, dinner at San Angel Inn, and Candlelight Processional! Woof!
* Maybe to the Boardwalk after then back to Pop!
Thursday:
* 7:30am - Bus to Animal Kingdom for Donald's Breakfastasaurus at 8ish.
* 9am - Ride Dinosaur, Primevil Whirl, see Tarzan Rocks one last time before it goes and then It's tough to be a Bug!
* Somehow get over to DTD for last minute shopping!
* 3:30 ish - Magic Express back to MCO!
* 6:30pm - Fly back to Providence! :)

I've missed you all!!
I ate a little of everything I wanted. We had a small family dinner so no huge quantities of leftovers. Stayed at my IL's for a few days.
After a week of not working out it felt great to sweat again today. I tried the weight control oatmeal today, it was good.
I hope you all have a great time at Disney. Enjoy the sunshine!!

Just finished my workout and it felt good! No post-exercise rush but I do feel a little "clearer"...
I think we have our challenge for next week everyone...it'll be "Tag Along with Mike." I have a reward in mind for everyone who completes it (I know we need to firm up the details a little but rest assured it won't be "keeping up with Mike" - dude! you're on the go!) It will mean that you'll need to pm your addy's though.

I'm checking in--down .5 this week (yuck) with 455 minutes of exercise. I am now living proof that you can exercise all you want, but if you eat and eat and eat, you won't lose any weight. sigh.
My goal for this week is to stay within my WW points, which I probably haven't done for the whole month of November.

I stayed even for this week so that brings my total to 20 lbs. for the challenge. I can't believe that I have been loosing and have been able to keep it off. Now I need to work harder than ever to get more off.

I'm the same this week. We definitely need to keep doing something so I can get motivated again! If nothing else I would like to lose 3.5 pounds by Christmas. That will put me at 20 pounds lost counting what I lost before this challenge. Then, I will be halfway to my 40 pound goal!

The finale of the show last night was just awesome! All three finalists looked amazing. I kind of wanted Seth to win, but I was very happy for Matt. I hope that his friends can see the clips of how they behaved towards him when he came home and will change their behavior! And wow, Suzy did so great too! Pretty much all the contestants did great. Sad that one didn't want to show up.
Oh well! I am back from 60min of water aerobics and ready for a long full day of work which leads to Disney in 5 days!!! :)

I forgot to weigh myself yesterday so I don't have an official weight. I did this morning and I lost 1.4 lbs last week. I'm really happy with that.
I thought everyone on the show looked great. I have Regis & Kelly on but I'm not watching, is Matt on the show today?
I thought his friends were terrible in the bar shot and Suzy's friends at the restaurant seemed to be encouraging her to try things that she knew she shouldn't eat.
I did work out today, so I feel great.

Okay because I really don't want to be doing what I should be doing I'm starting the Biggest Loser Strikes Back - Tag Along with Mike. This is part 1 and part 2 will be when he's actually there. If you choose to participate and complete part 1 and part 2 you will get a special reward from me! :teeth: Our challenge begins tomorrow, December 1, December 5th is a day off, and part 2 runs December 6 - 9th. I've got Mike's itinerary copied below (Mike - if that's not okay LMK and I'll take it out):
Monday:

* 12pm - Arrive at Pop, get Key to Kingdom (too early for room)& head to Disney Studios. Do everything there! hehe
* 6pm - View the Osbourne Lights
* 8pm - Bus to AKL for dinner at Boma, view all AKL holiday decorations
* 11pm - Back to Pop to get my room & bed!
Tuesday:
* 7:30am - Bus to MK for 8am breakfast at Crystal Palace
* 9am - MK opens, have fun!
* 1pm - Meet friend for lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe, view Wilderness Lodge holiday decorations. And then visit Holiday decs at GF, Poly & Contemporary.
* 6pm - Dinner at Tony's Town Square before MVMCP
* 7pm - MVMCP!!!!
* 1am - Back to Pop!
Wednesday:
* 7am - Taxi to Poly for 7:30 breakfast at Kona Cafe
* 8:30am - Monorail to Epcot for opening! Run to Soarin, ride it and get a fast pass
* 11:00am - Figure out getting to DTD, I am thinking walking to Boardwalk through International gateway and then bus to DTD
* 12pm - WISH meet at Earl of Sandwich!!
* Back to Epcot for Holidays around the World Showcase, tree lighting, dinner at San Angel Inn, and Candlelight Processional! Woof!
* Maybe to the Boardwalk after then back to Pop!
Thursday:
* 7:30am - Bus to Animal Kingdom for Donald's Breakfastasaurus at 8ish.
* 9am - Ride Dinosaur, Primevil Whirl, see Tarzan Rocks one last time before it goes and then It's tough to be a Bug!
* Somehow get over to DTD for last minute shopping!
* 3:30 ish - Magic Express back to MCO!
* 6:30pm - Fly back to Providence!
Now on to the challenge...Day 1, for us tomorrow December 1st...Mike is spending most of his day at Disney Studios. I checked in my trusty Passporter and added up all the average walking times to cover the park and it's 35 minutes...our challenge for tomorrow is to walk/exercise 35 minutes AND drink 8 cups of water (gotta stay hydrated in Florida ya know!)
I'll update this everyday with your dancing banana after you complete the day's challenge :banana: (yes I have a strange obsession with this guy)...and the challengers are:

I'm glad you're letting us know the times because I haven't been to Disney in a year and I don't remember any average times, we pretty much followed our son everywhere.
And I don't see a new thread anywhere.

Hi gang! Is this the last weigh-in or was that last week? I'm so confused! Anway, I stayed the same this week. I actually gained 2 lbs during turkey day, but lost it.
I don't think I'll do another challenge because I have a really hard time losing weight, much less this time of year. I'll do good just to maintain. I'll be cheering all of you on though. I'm so proud of all of you!!! :Pinkbounc

I didn't really follow through at all with the Biggest Loser on WISH, and I watched the show last night for the first time... wow, what motivation! So I'm in!
Tomorrow walk/exercise 35 minutes and 8 cups of water...got it!

I lost one more pound which surprised me, I did not do too badly at Thanksgiving but I know I ate a bit more than I should have.

OK, OK...
I know I've been AWOL again, but work=nightmare of late. Anyway, over the last two weeks I've lost another 2 pounds, which put me at 13 total for the whole shebang to date.
I've been exercising pretty regularly, upping weights here and there, and the body's responding OK. Best of all, I'm down a dress size! Bought new jeans two weeks ago. Very, very good.
