Sign-up to catch up with DATW

I am going to start a sign-up for those of us who want to catch up with DATW after fantasmic on Friday night.

We will find a place to meet after Fantasmic..then head over for DATW. It may be hard to catch the Boat or a bus from MGM right after fantasmic. But we will give it the old DIS-CON try :D
Fantasmic should end by 8pm(i think) and even taking 30-45 minutes to get there we should make it for at least a couple of drinks before Karaoke :D

Remember that Illuminations starts at 9:30 instead of 9:00 during the holiday season, so the drinkers will have 3-1/2 hours to make their way around World Showcase.

The event will be held Friday, Nov 30th at 6pm. The group will meet at the Rose & Crown Pub at Epcot.

For those DATW alumnis, just curious to know how much time (approximately) you spent in each country last time around?

There was no time limit on how much time we spent at each country. We kind of just went with the flow. At the UK, USA and Japan we stayed the longest, because there were lines. It was a blast. Pat, I am not sure if I will be able to attend this....so I am a definite maybe.

Good one glo. If I remember correctly, TVT and PandyPaws both broke off from the DATW group in July to watch a performance of Blast! at the American Showcase. Have you ever considered a career in comedy?

WOW...I forgot all about starting this thread.

Just for those who don't know, the times have changed on the fantasmic desert party. It will be 5:30 - 6:30 PM and the we will have an escorted tour through the Osborne Family Lights till 7:00PM. So we will be able to catch up with DATW about an hour earlier than previously thought.

So what do you think, Should we take the Boats from MGM to epcot( I think this is best because it will drop us offf at world showcase) or should we do the busses. I am not sure which one is quickest, but I know the Boats will give us the shortest walk after arriving.

Now we need to find someone who will have a cell phone with them so we can call to find where they are at.

Since I don't know if I will be doing fantasmic that night or before I will try to get either with the group from the beginning or join up with everybody from fantasmic on the 30th. I should have the car so some may be able to ride in the car with me from MGM to Epcot. Problably won't know anything until D-day.
