I had a PAP last year and used Your Magical Journeys travel agent to get me the discounted rates.

With the new BRP, how does that work w/internet travel agents like Dreams Unlimited, Your Magical Journeys, etc.?

With the new BRP don't you have to have a valid ap to get the codes, is it the same w/a travel agent? Do they just look on the disney website for the BRP for you? :confused3

Thanks, Stephanie

You can still use Magical Journeys, etc. to book the BRP rate. They do need your AP number, or the voucher number that will be redeemed for the AP in order to book it for you.

I needed 2 rooms and was worried that if I booked one room, the second may not be there. I contacted Debbie at Magical Journeys and she was able to do 2 at the same time for me, and the reservation numbers were one digit different. I think they have something we don't.

Sure beat taking a leap of blind faith that 2 WL rooms were available!

So you have to at least have a voucher now to book the ap rate? You used to be able to book it without anything, right? I guess the travel agent could probably hold the room for you at that rate and I could go out and buy an ap. Just trying to decide whether the ap price will be worth it or not.

The travel agent cannot hold a BRP room for you.

Availability and rates can be checked, but there are no complimentary holds on a BRP room. If you want it, the TA will need your AP/voucher number as well as a credit card to book the room.
