My cousin just got back from San Diego to Indy Saturday night. He is a police officer/lawyer and in the reserves (there for 2 wk training). He stated he didn't have any problems, but it took him 2.5 hrs to get through everything. He said they searched everything and even did a body search. I didn't get to ask him if they were doing the same for children, but I'd prepared them in case. I'll try to email him and ask for those wondering. He had a connecting flight in St Louis and had no problems, arriving on time. He said you never leave the secure area so you don't need to worry about missing the connecting flight.
