timeshare tour last year - lovely resort..:)

I laughed though, when I asked our "Resort Consultant" (I think that's what she called herself) about the resale market for their condos.

"Oh no, no one EVER sells their unit - all of our owners love them too much!!!"

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Uh huh  . Give me my tickets...buh bye. :wave2:

Check ebay. Most of them go for a song there, particularly if they are in the off season.

one down, one more to go....you can only TOUR their resort twice and then you are flagged forever from ever buying directly from them

We stayed there in October and loved it. Paid $159/night for a 2-bedroom. Here's a pic:

I really liked this resort. My family stayed there in 2003 or 2004 - they were still building. We were considering buying there - did a little research, found out that the owner of the resort is the ex-wife of Seagal (man who owns Westgate Properties). It seems after the divorce she learned a few things and made WPCC everything Westgate wasn't - but they too have those fast talking sales people. The condos are sit up exactly like Westgate - just different bedding. But literally the identical floor plan. We passed - but it sure was a pretty resort. Everything is so spread out - which could be a good and bad thing. We stayed far far away from the pool. We started walking and someone picked us up on a golf cart. This regularly happens there too. Its location is great to Disney - about 4 miles away (maybe 10-15 minutes drive- due to traffic on 192).

Stayed there in May. Great place spoiled us forever. But the sales pitch was the worst. I had purchased a vacation sampler two years before and took my week at the Palms the last week I could. They did everything but wave money under my nose to get me to buy. I had done my homework before we went and knew if I ever did want to buy the units were available for less than half of what they were charging. Of course they could not believe what a fool I was to pass up the 2003 price they had to honor.
