Jana - I agree about the BL challenge withdrawals!! I was thinking about a "support group" too but I love Mike's idea of a new challenge around Fear Factor or something. That sounds fun.
Helen - you did so awesome last week!! Huge congrats to you - through worrying about your medical tests and dealing with office snacks you still lost weight - now who's got the control? You rock! :rockband:
Mike - love the new ticker! How did you get your picture on it? :goodvibes Thanks for the link to the website, I didn't realize they were doing that.

You can definitely lose that pound and more this week!! I know you can!!!
Don't make me go all Jillian again! ;)
The NBC Biggest Loser site is very cool. They have forums on there too with lots of inspiring folks. :)

MinnieMouseMom - great attitude! That's coming off this week (the weight not the 'tude :smooth: )
bcvprincess - how're the workouts at the gym going? :dog2:
Shelia - great job staying even! :wizard: You're gaining days are behind you (pun intended)
Marty - you're in the same situation as me :wave2: , our pounds will be falling this week! :bounce:
Congratulations to K&K's Mommy and Helen for breaking through the 10 pound barrier!! :jumping1:
Mike I just noticed you'll be at WDW in just over 2 weeks...how exciting!! Do you have a special treat/reward planned for yourself?

Hi Jennifer!
The whole trip is my treat/reward! hehe :) Especially if I meet my goal of being able to walk the whole trip without needing a scooter!!! :)

Oh Mike - I'm so excited for you!! :earseek:  I didn't realize what a HUMONGOUS (sp?) change you are going through in your life - that is so fantastic! Do you think you'll be able to do it this time? To even be able to consider - what a huge step! Okay now for the mother in me - don't push yourself and over do it, using the scooter :moped: is perfectly okay and you need to stay healthy to continue your remarkable progress and take many many more trips to WDW and to plan a meet in April 2006.

Ok, I'm trying this again. I had a long reply typed out and "the server was too busy".
Jennifer, you're a great cheerleader!! :cheer2: I'm glad there are at least 2 of us on this two steps forward, one step back dance. But we'll get to our goal eventually, right?
I did step aerobics and bike today for 90 min.
K and K's mommy, I'm a little concerned about the cake. But I dont' like chocolate and that's probably what he'll get so I will be able to ignore it.
We are going to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday on Sat. I've been trying to decide what to eat (if anything!!) there. Maybe a salad.

Marty - We're here for you with the birthday weekend! Definitely plan what you are going to eat before you go. I'm sure they have a salad bar - lots of veggies, little dressing. GOOD LUCK!
I did not get my exercise in today. I knew I wouldn't during the day so I was hoping to exercise when my DH got home from work. He ended up having to work late. I know I should do it now, but once the kids are in bed, I just want to veg!
Have a great Thursday everyone! I would love to continue this after the show is over!

I just wanted to say that I think you are all very inspiring! I don't talk much, but I read and follow everyone's success stories. Keep up the good work!
I also like the idea of Fear Factor challenges--as long as I don't have to eat anything tooooo disgusting! :sunny:

Jana, I think Mike said something about the first challenge being raw tofu mixed with canned spinach and liver... :confused3
Jennifer, you're a great cheerleader!! I'm glad there are at least 2 of us on this two steps forward, one step back dance. But we'll get to our goal eventually, right? Thanks Marty! :goodvibes And yes we will get to our goal eventually and it will last since we know what to do if we gain a week. :)
I exercised yesterday for 60 minutes! Today it's off to the Children's Museum with 100 2nd graders - definitely not my thing! And then a stop off at happy hour - oops! I mean home and maybe hop on the treadmill.
Has anyone tried that Ezekiel bread that they talk about on BL? :confused3 I haven't found it here. I HAVE found Bread of Life though - delicious Banana Nut muffins, HUGE and 140 calories/0 fat. Also some very tasty chocolate chip brownies, 150 cals/0 fat and they're huge too, I had 1/2 for dessert last night. I do want to try the Ezekiel bread though.

Had to work 16 hours yesterday and boy am I tired. I think I will go to the gym later today. I am really loving it there. Thanks to everyone here for all your support. You gave me the kick in the butt that I needed to go.
I lost 1 lb last week. I still can't believe that Matt lost so much weight last week on the show. I wonder what he did?????
Everyone keep up the good work. :cheer2:

It seems like this week is off to a great start with everyone being very motivated!
I walked only a 1/2 hour yesterday, I got home too late to get in another 1/2 hour...but 1/2 hour is better than nothing.
..
Mike you will be in WDW the same time my husband and I will, our dates are 12/4-12/9...its getting closer and closer. I'm really getting excited!
...
I'm hoping to lose a few more pounds before the trip, it will be hard over Thanksgiving, but I am going to try and stay away from the pies and other goodies.

Oh cool! I am so excited now that I have a different dream every night that somehow relates to travel or Disney! LOL :) If you're interested, we're having a WISH meet at lunch time on the 7th at DTD. Around 8 or so people coming I think. If you are interested I can get more details to you, if not no worries!! :)
Have a great day all!!! It is a gym day for me, so I will report my min later! :)

Geetings all,
Another bleah week for me, I'm afraid. Nothing lost (though nothing gained), and just 120 minutes of exercise to report. I did do 45 minutes at the gym yesterday (elliptical and a few weight machines) to start this week off, however. Don't think I'm making it there today, though. Very, very achy today. Think it's the dampness/change in temperature. Will force myself back tomorrow.
Keep moving,

Laura - Don't say just 120 minutes! 120 is much better than 0!! Way to go!
I'm glad I read these today. I am not feeling energized! I think it is the change in weather. I did get in 40 minutes of walk/run on the treadmill.
Jennifer - How was the museum? 2nd grade is what I taught before I was a stay at home mom. I loved it! Hopefully it wasn't too crowded! I bet you got some exercise walking all over the museum! :Pinkbounc

I didn't get a workout in yesterday. I ended up working at the book fair at my son's school. I just happened to be there and the person scheduled didn't show up.
Today I did 35 min step aerobics. I am on my way to my son's school to volunteer for his teacher today. I have been gone every day this week. It's hard for me to get motivated when I'm not home to work out first thing after my dh and son leave.
Have a great weekend!!

Hi everyone
Everone is doing a wonderful job on the exercise.
Mike - I have always wanted to try water aerobics but the only classes around here are held during my work hours, maybe someday.
I don't think I have posted my exercise since Monday. I didn't exercise Tuesday but for the rest of the week I have 123 minutes.
Everyone keep up the great work!!! :cheer2:

Good afternoon! You all are exercising a lot!! :cheer2:
I did a 45 minute aerobics first thing this morning. I got a headache afterwards. Dehydrated, maybe? Anyway, I feel better now.
Tomorrow will be a challenge. We're going to a big tailgate before the IU/Purdue game. I hope the weather is better. I am not a big enough fan to sit out in the cold and be happy!

Wow! I never win anything! :sunny:
This week I lost 2 more pounds so that puts me at 10.5. I also did 270 minutes of excerise. One week to go, I don't think I'll be the biggest loser!
I did see a personal trainer at the gym last night. She says that if I eat right and do what she says, I could lose between ten and fifteen pounds a month. Eating right is not easy, but she did give me "free days" on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We'll see how it works. She then wants me to go to the gym six days a week. Three days for an hour and three days for an hour and a half. I can do that, especially if I break up the 1.5 into two forty-five minute sessions.
Thanks everyone!

Guess I was afraid for nothing! I am down another 3lbs this week. It was 2lbs when I first stepped on the scale, but when I rechecked it was 3lb, and then was 3 for the next 4 times! LOL Saturday's naughtiness did not hit me too bad then. :) Now with Thanksgiving lying before I worry... it is a carb coma weekend! I will need my WISH Shields at full strength!!
Onwards to our final week! Good luck everyone!!! :goodvibes

Hey, sorry I've been MIA. Had the party at CEC for my son, I had 1 piece of pizza. I've eaten terribly lately (quality) but have been eating smaller portions. And drinking lots of water. I'm back down 1 lb.
Yesterday I sat at a garage for 4 1/2 hours getting dh's car inspected and fixing a couple of things. Today I have been cutting fabric and sewing all day. I'm working on a quilt for a cousin's daughter.
Have a great Thanksgiving!!
I'm looking forward to being back to my regular routine on Monday.

so i started this thing at 163 lbs and i just checked and im down to 151...so that is a 12 lb loss total! I cant believe it...but for this week, its 3 lbs down..i. guess not losing anything last week helped me this week :)
