Wonder who is going in too.

I don't usually watch it but I read in the papers a few people who are going on:
Cannon and Ball
Sid Owen (from Eastenders I am told)
Jenny Frost (from Atomic Kitten I am told)
Lucy Pinder (page 3 girl - apparently)
Carol Thatcher
Magenta Divine (I think) - bit like Janet Street Porter type without the teeth
cannot remember the others.

Hmm not sure, it was in a newspaper last week, don't remember him being mentioned.
Sure one or two of the others were unfamiliar names (to me anyway), possibly another soap 'star' perhaps...

According to GMTV these are 10 probables, some on my earlier post:
David Dickinson
Elaine Lordan - who?
Jenny Frost
Jilly Goolden
Carol Thatcher
Sid Owen
Kimberley Davies - used to be in Neighbours
Sheree Murphy - Emmerdale ex apparently
Antony Costa - who?
Jimmy Osmond

The official line up was only announced today - what was in the papers at the weekend was rumour and speculation, although some of them were right.
I'm really looking forward to it, but i can't bear to watch some of the bush tucker trials that involve eating! Jordan and that fish eye grossed me out.

That's perfectly true, most who have ever been on the show are has been's.
I don't quite understand Sheree Murphy though as her husband is a professional footballer - Harry Kewell - and loaded so, that's a strange one.

Is anyone watching the opening episode?
I think that there is going to be some serious *****yness with the women that they have got in there! Jenny Frost seems to be trying to make friends with everyone but I think she is using tactics! :smooth:
They were brave to jump out of the plane - theres no way that you'd have got me doing that! :guilty:
And..... will Elaine be back???
Jilly was funny with the wine tasting and David Dickinson up the tree! Ha ha :rotfl:
Should we turn this thread into the official I'm a Celebrity thread or start a new one?

I had to laugh at Sid and David doing the tree thing. It was like the Chuckle brothers! To me, to you.
But did we really need to see Carol having a wee! I wonder if she knows the country saw that!! I hope Elaine will be OK though. It sounds like she will be back though.
Ant and Dec were brill as always though, I love those guys.
I hope Carol is a good driver though. I can't wait to see the result of that one.

I love this programme. The way Ant and Dec take the mickey is priceless - I didn't realise why Dec kept laughing during the bushtucker trial until he did his impressions of David Dickinson afterwards.
Well done to Sheree Murphy for having the courage to face her fears and jump out of the plane - in the paper it said she was going to be worse than Natalie Appleton last year, in my opinion she's done better already.

What a great start. I thought Sheree was so brave to jump out of the plane, and David & Sid doing their bushtucker trial was funny too. I think Lady Thatcher will be mortified to see Carol having a pee in the camp, and I laughed at Ant & Dec when Dec said 'watch where you stand' when they went back into camp :rotfl:

We watched last years programme pretty much all the way through.
I haven't read all the posts on this thread but so far Ant & Dec have been brilliant, they always are, however other than that I am so far finding it a bit dull and am already thinking of giving the rest of it a miss.
Carol Thatcher is about as interesting as driving in thick fog, Sheree/Jenny/Kimberley are all very attractive but have little else, David Dickinson is just plain annoying, Sid Owen? hmm not sure yet...I actually fell asleep during last night's show - I did have a very long day though.
Bring back John Lydon!
If you took Ant & Dec out of the programme would anyone still watch?

It wouldn't surprise me if they brought somebody else in to liven it up a bit.
I mean I have never been a fan or anything of Janet Street Porter - but she did give the last show something and with the likes of John Lydon made it very watchable - especially with Ant & Dec on top form.
Paul Burrell was also good too - I just do not see anyone so far on this current show who brings something different.

There was a programme on ITV4 earlier, watched it for about 10 minutes and Janet Street-Porter was on.
She actually came across okay but agreed that so far it has been pretty dull.
Like her or not she did add something to last years show which if you throw John Lydon into the mix also shows that sadly this years to date is lacking any personalities of note whatsoever.
It can only get better.

An ITV spokesman said: "We have given a great deal of thought and consideration to Elaine's situation and have decided that she won’t be returning to the jungle.
“The detailed investigations carried out by separate doctors over the last two days have shown her to be in good health.
“But ITV has a responsibility to all of the celebrities taking part in the show and given what has happened to Elaine on two separate occasions in as many days and knowing what challenges lie ahead in the show, ITV has decided to err on the side of caution and Elaine has reluctantly agreed to withdraw from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”

It wasn't just you Mandy no - as I have been saying on earlier posts I think this years so far has been terrible.
There are no personalities at all, and to be brutal Sheree/Kimberley/Jenny are really just plain boring..the rest are no better either and why they picked Carol Thatcher, Jilly Goolden and Sid Owen I do not know....

I don't like it when they do that...if it was to vote them out, I would participate :(

I have just read on the website that Kim has a cracked rib following a bushtucker trial. She had to jump from a helicopter into a dam and was ok on the first two jumps but injured herself on the third. She was taken to hospital by an air ambulance.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be Bobby tonight, then sid, then Jimmy, then Sheree and Carol will come out as winner.
Personally, i don't want Sheree to be second - i would much rather Jimmy. I find Sheree really fake, shes trying to play the Kerry Katonia card to win {i'm so scared but i'll do it for the camp and now i'm so very brave, i miss my children *crycrycry* feel sorry for me} Did anyone notice that when they first went into the jungle she was so scared of jumping out of the plane but when they had to choose who to do the second plane trial she was like please let me do it!
I also find her extremely irritating, especially when she was in the jungle jail with Jenny, she lacked respect for Jenny {who clearly wanted to sleep and started to sound really annoyed} and moaned, screamed and cried all night. If i was Jenny i would of told her to shut up and would of said stop talking about walking out of camp and just DO it.
Carol to win! :Pinkbounc

I understand what you are saying about Sheree.
According to Sky.Com this is how much they are getting for there appearances...
Jenny Frost £100,000
Carol Thatcher £40,000
Sid Owen £55,000
Elaine Lordan £65,000
Jilly Goolden, Antony Costa, Jimmy Osmond, Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball have all reportedly been offered the minimum £25,000.
Not bad for a couple of weeks work eh?
