Anyone have any idea what the cost might be? We are staying at Wilderness Lodge in February and I think Gatorland would be a huge hit for DS. But....we won't have a rental car so I am thinking the only way to get there would be to cab it. So, a general idea of the price would be appreciated. Thanks!

My guess is minimum $30 each way, plus tip. There's a lot of traffic and a ton of lights over that way on OBT, and that's going to keep that meter running for quite a while.
Can you just rent a car for a day?

Why pay taxi? Use the LYNX! For a mere $1.50, you may get a bus or 2 into Gatorland! From your Disney resort, take the Disney bus into the Magic Kingdom's Monorail or Transportation and Ticket Center. Find the LYNX bus stop that reads LINK 50, 56. Take bus #56, into the Osceola Square Mall, then take bus #4 that reads "Downtown Orlando" to Gatorland! Cheap!

I would rent a car for the day you can rent in the dolphin. The bus may be cheap, but not fast or convenient. When I'm on vacation I will spend a little not to have to be on someone elses schedule. If you book in advance you can get a good rate.

I agree! I also think LYNX can be very confusing if you aren't familiar with the area.
