Hello all, I have been spending alot of time on here lately as I'm sure alot of you have. Everyone is very helpful and sincere. In such a time of tragedy my excitement for our up coming trip to WDW seems bittersweet. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those touched and their families. But life must go on and our trip will mean a little more to me and my family than it did Sept. 10th. We plan to fly out on Sept 22 and we are very much aware of the new security being inforced, but was wondering if anyone has had trouble with layovers. We will have a 50 minute layover in Atlanta and wonder if that will allow us enough time? I greatly appreciate any feedbacks.

Shouldn't affect layovers as you are already in the 'secured' area and do not have to pass through security or check baggage.

We flew into Atlanta yesterday from Sacramento. Our flight leaving Sacramento was 1 hour behind scheduel. Our connecting flit was also delayed. Previous post is correct. You are already cleared for security so as long as flights are on time, you should have no problem making the connection.

Just be sure that you do not leave the secured area while waiting for your next flight. In some of the airports, especially the smaller ones, you may be tempted to go outside the security checkpoint to go to a particular restaurant, shop, etc. That would mean that you would have to come back in through security again and may be delayed and subsequently miss your flight. Otherwise, unless you changing terminals because you're flying different airlines, you should be okay.
