Great pages everyone. I have been working on my disney book, going with an A-Z theme this time. I will try to post pages tomorrow. They don't have the words for the titles by the alphabet letter on them yet, I'm going to do all those at the end.

No, I made it. I used 2 PPs, sliced one down the middle, glued the middles back together with glue lines, covered both sides with the brown ribbon to cover the glue, then punched hole along the one half to attach it to the second PP with jump rings. Major PITA but I am pleased with how it turned out. I had too many pics for a 2 pg LO but didn't want to make it 3, so this was what I came up with :) I have seen the pre-made panoramic ones before, too. I really think I need to buy some, bc this took ages LOL!

Oh my gosh please tell me I am not reading this thread correctly. Please tell me KimAston you are just in a huge slump and thought maybe if you looked at other peoples work it would get you motivated and not that your comment meant to come across as rude as it did. This is a great thread. I love to look at everyone's layouts. Some are amazing, some are nice and some are ok but all of it is great because it is people's work they are proud of what they created and it suits their needs. I really like the layouts on here. I love to see how people combine their pictures and paper. How they add picture to a page. Surely you are not implying the work is bad. That is just plan rude! And if you are lets see some of your fab pages...maybe you can motivate us....but then again it is easier to be rude.....

Oh thank goodness....I thought it was so odd with the number of postings you had to come across that you would be rude!

One of the things I have found to be most productive in getting out of a slump is to clean out my supplies, reorganize....I never get motivated by looking at other peoples work! I need to do something concrete!

SO good luck to you! Hope you get motivated soon!

I recently discovered my "inspiration" - I challenged myself to get one event scrapped by a certain time and it worked! I cranked out like 30 pages. I was in shock, because I was completely in a rut working on my Disney pages. It was around August so I told myself that I wanted to scrap DD's 1st grade before she started 2nd grade. I wasn't completely finished by the time school started, but I was 3/4 done. Since then I have given myself more such challenges and I find it is nice to have a goal. I am so overwhelmed with all I have waiting to be scrapped. So if I take it in small bits it has helped me greatly! I hope you find your inspiration!

I just did this last week - thus the new pages I posted :) LOL Seeing all my stuff moved around and out of hiding helps me find ways to use it. But I am also inspired by seeing other people's work. I will often jot down a sketch if I see a LO here or on 2peas or elsewhere and tuck it in my BH sketch book.

Isn't it interesting the way we can all read the same thing and perceive it differently? I totally thought you were just in a slump and that even looking at all the layouts in the world wasn't going to help any.

Hope you come up out of your slump creating wonderful pages for you albums! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for your comments. On the left side of our Halloween costumes, I put down the words to the Haunted Mansion ride. It just didn't photograph very well with the metallic paper.

The cake didn't have much flavor that I can remember.

That was the Salmon, and it was DELISH!!!

It took me about 2-3 weeks for those pages. The countries in Epcot took the longest because I was doing 2 page LO's for them and trying to make the Flag of that country as the background.

I still have about 300 pictures from last years trip that I need to finish before our next trip in April!!

I have been really trying to learn/add a new technique to each of my pages...this one I got way in over my head and did 2 new things...my first shaker box and a serious paper piecing. The PP was a scraplift from an amazing page from tbrighton at 2Peas...she makes pp look so fantastic I couldn't help myself! I had the coloring book from WDW so I thought I would give it a go!:confused3 well...after two days of working on this piece...i realized..it isn't easy.:sad2: It was definately waaay too ambitious of me. But here are the results..finally! TFL.

Thank you!:) Here is the pattern I used for the PP..The original picture had a wreath around it so I took them out and just drew in the rest.I would offer to make it but I am new to the whole paper piecing thing and this piece took me two days. I got it from a coloring book from WDW. There are LOTS of fun pages from the different attractions. Hope this helps you!

I have absolutely loved looking through all these pages. I've found a lot of ideas to use for our upcoming Disney Cruise. I finally upload all the pics of my Disney 2007 scrapbook. So take a look, but please be kind!!! They are all two page layouts but I took a picture of each side so you could get a closer look. Hope you like.

These two are when we were waiting for Future World to open. All the characters came out and these are the pics I snapped.

No, the monorail and other pieces that were on my pages were bought from ebay. If you'd like to take a look at her web-store, go to ebay and check under gina's treasure chest. She has a BOAT LOAD of Disney pieces along with other destinations also plus a lot of other ones too. She has excellent quality stuff and I think her pieces really make a nice statement on your pages. She does have a referal program too, If you recommend someone to her site and they spend $25 or more you get $5 off your next purchase. So if you or anyone else wants to help me out with my next order.....all you have to do is put my name in the "comment box".

Thanks for the compliments on my pages too.

I have never posted pages here before, but since I finished my 2006 Disney Album last month, I decided to share the pages. Now as a preface... I scrap CM, so I do not do (because I don't know how) a lot of the techniques that most of you do (fibers, ribbons, brads, etc..). I have scraplifted some of the pages (I know for sure I have a few from Yzerbear19-Love her pages!) Some pages I like more than others, but at this point I am just glad to be done with it! I am now working on my 2007 trip and hope to finish it this month.

Anyway...here is a link (hopefully this will work) to my pages if you would like to look at them. http://dostalekfamily.spaces.live.com/photos/cns!7C712187CF1DBC4C!160/

Nice pages Princess Stitch. I also scrap CM because I love the quality of the albums. I do use fibers, eyelets, brads, etc. because I wallpaper (use a whole background sheet of paper that I use as my base and then attach into my album.)

Here are a few of my pages:

The easiest way to start is with brads since you only need to punch a hole to use them. Ribbon is also really easy as you can use the small CM tape runner to adhere it to the paper and use the photo mounting tape on the back to stick it down to the back of the paper. The other option is to use the adhesive Mickey embellies from your LSS. These pages have buttons and Mickey head brads that are both adhesive.

Thanks! I love your pages too. My favorite is the Disney Land one. I like the Golden Gate one too. We went there in Dec 2006 for our 10 yr Anniversary. I haven't scrapped that trip yet, so I may have to lift your layout! ;)

I thought about taking a class at Archivers or my LSS on different techniques. I have been scrapping since 2001, but really don't know a thing other than CM styles. I might try some ribbon to start with. Thanks for the advice!

I did a couple of classes at my LSS called Teach Me More. They covered everything from brads, eyelets and ribbon to tearing, inking, paper crumpling, paint and sanding.

A lot of us were CM people and had never done lots of the techniques. The cool thing is that I ended up with a super-cute two-page layout from each class that showcased the various techniques and the methods made a lot of difference in my pages.

Feel free to lift away on my S.F. pages. We are in the city a few times a year and I have a thousand versions of that shot but had never scrapped any of them. How nice to have an anniversary there. It really is a lovely city.

I don't think I've posted any of my pages in this thread yet. This is the link to my album for my October Disney trip. Still lots more to come. There's over 40 layouts in here. So far I've finished the Stars & Motor Cars Parade, and I'm almost done my character meetings pages (I finished 3 layouts the other day that I haven't uploaded yet, and now I have just 2 more character layouts to do!) There's a few MNSSHP layouts (Cinderella's Coach is one of my favorite LOs so far!) in here as well:

Here's one layout that I recently finished:

Thanks! That's my favorite part of the layout, too. :) I used one of the new Cuttlebug embossing folders. It's in the princess set. Took a bit of work to line everything up right, but it was worth it. I inked the raised image with gold ink. The shimmer in the ink doesn't show up in the pic.

Ok, I finally took some more pictures of my scrapbook pages. Since my student teaching is done, I've had a lot of free time, so when I'm not filling out job applications I've been busy scrapbooking! I think looking at everyone else's stuff really inspired me! Enjoy! :)

Here are some layouts from my summer scrapbook (this has actually been done for a while...) It's an 8x8 book...while I take enough pictures that I could do a bigger one, I do not have the patience for 12x12 layouts anymore!

Looking for some ideas for autograph books. I know I saw some on this thread, but aside from having to look through every page, can someone direct me to the exact pages or post some new ones?

Here's the first two pages I've scrapped for our Disneyworld album. I don't scrap "in order", so these are just two random things I've done.

I do include hidden Mickey's on all of my pages. It is pretty easy to find on one, a bit harder to find on the other. The kids love looking for the hidden Mickey's almost as much as they love looking at all the Disney pages.

OK, so this isn't exactly a "Disney" page, but it's from Downtown Disney and was my FAVORITE food the whole trip.

Thanks! It's a Rusty Pickle accordian album but I covered myself. Goodness knows I had more than enough Disney stuff to create it. :rotfl: I bought the album at a convention. I needed something for my desk at work that held a few photos. If my memory is correct, I believe it's a 6x6 book.

I love the simplicity of these pages!! This is the style of most of my traditonal albums. It really focuses on the pictures. I am famous for having almost completed albums - because I have a journaling box on every two page spread with nothing written on it. You did a beautiful job. Now that I have starting doing Digital with Storybook Creator Plus - I am forced to journal or I can't print.:rotfl:

Thanks for the feedback on the book. I've been so encouraged to finish my 2005 and 2006 books after seeing that I am not alone in not getting them done right away. My 2005 book has just a few pages and really needs the most work. My 2006 book is about done just needs a little tweaking. I put a sample to show. I took two totally different approaches with the books. Take a look and tell me what you think.

I was going to post some of my MNSSHP layouts, but I've only posted one of my princess layouts in this thread, and figured I might as well post the other 4 first! My Belle layout is on page 92, post #1379 if you missed it. :)

These are some of my favorite pages I've done so far from my Disney album (and I'm up to over 60 layouts so far, and no where close to being done...good thing I LOVE working on my Disney albums!)

First up is Aurora.

The picture of the second page is dark, and the pics themselves all look green for some reason? It doesn't look like that in person.

Aladdin & Jasmine- All these pages use the cricut, but this one includes the first prince/princess I made with the princess cart. Hard, but not as hard as I thought it might be. I made them several days before I worked on this page. I wish I had looked at my pic of Aladdin before making him, because the color for his outfit didn't match what they show in the handbook. And, of course, I used the handbook as my guide for which colors to use. Next time, I have to remember to look at the actual picture instead. I also wish that I used gold paper for Jasmine's earrings (instead of the brown, which doesn't show up well in the pics.) Still I was pretty happy with how they came out, especially since it was my first time working on piecing people together, rather than a mouse, duck, or dog. ;) The pic that you can't see because of glare on the 2nd page is of Jasmine signing my book.

Love your pages. They are so sparkley. I like how you incorporated in the autographs. Love the Jasmine and Aladdin you did with the cricut. For their eyes did you use a pen? I have the cart too and can't get the eyes to cut. They just come out as holes in the paper. And that was cutting at 5 inches.

The only problem I had with Aladdin & Jasmine were the eyes. The brown pieces were REALLY tiny (they hardly cut out), so instead I used a marker on them. This worked better on Jasmine's eyes than Aladdin's. It shows up more (meaning worse ;)) in the closeup than in the pic of the page. I only had a marker in brown, and the tip is too wide to draw the eyes (that was my problem with Aladdin), and since then, I got a brown pen with a thinner tip, so I can draw in the eyes better next time.

These are some of my favorite pages I've done so far from my Disney album (and I'm up to over 60 layouts so far, and no where close to being done...good thing I LOVE working on my Disney albums!)

[/url]

these are awesome pages, i really love the cinderella page. Is this done with the cricut? How did you get the carriage?

The title was done with the Cricut. Both the coach & castle stickers are from Sandylion's Dreamscape line (which I love!)

I did make Cinderella's carriage using the Happily Ever After cart on the Cricut for another one of my pages. I can post that one if anyone is interested. :)

Thank you! Yes - it's all CM papers except for the Disney ones. I used the limited edition Cherish papers that were available last year for the World Showcase. I had it in my inventory (I'm a CMC) and was pleased at the result. But you could contact your CMC to see if she has any available, or if not, to see if she could find a pack for you.

For the mickey head shapes I actually just made an outline in paint and printed it on cardstock so I could trace around. The circles were made with the coluzzle, but I'm still learning how to use that thing (there were many failed circles:).

Thank you for looking! I have no one at home to show stuff off to (DBF would say "hey, that's great" even if I drew all the layouts with crayons:goodvibes ).
