They do have braille maps and audiotapes to lend (for a deposit).
Here's a link to a recent thread (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=942593) about a recent trip to WDW and another
link to the thread where they got information before they went. (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=918424&highlight=blind+visual)
Here's a link to a little older thread from Sept. (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=912312&highlight=blind+visual) (it's not exactly about travel to WDW, but does have some tidbits).

The deposit used to be $50, but that was a LONG time ago. My visually impaired friend tried teh braille guidebooks and ulitmatelu gave up, they were just too large and bulky to carry around. Instead he relied on us to describe things he was unable to see. He had limited vision (advanced glaucoma) so he was able to see a little bit. We got a GAC and sat up front at the shows so he could have a bit of an idea on what was happening visually.

According to the official Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities, the deposit is $25. Here's a link to the Disney site page about Guests with Visual Disabilities. (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/common/Plain?id=PlainVisualDPage)
