Hi anyone!
I'm not even sure if I am posting this on the correct forum.
Anyway, I wanted to know if you can still go into the parks with DAP on a blockout day? I thought you were able to with a small fee. Does anyone know what the deal is for that? :confused3
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

If you buy your AP on a block out day you can go into both parks that day (and park hop).

If you want to go to the park on a blockout day after buying it I believe it's still $25 for a blackout hopper pass.

We have Deluxe AP's and were told that on blockout days it is indeed $25 a person to get into the parks. Still a good deal for us since between our two trips we will only have one blockout day. So unless something has changed since September, WatchinCaptKangaroo is exactly right!

Thanks for the info! We would be there on 4-5 blockout days, so I don't know if that is the way to go or not.

If that is the case go with the premium, for the extra $120 (5 blockout days would be $125) and get parking included in your price.

Didn't I just see the "Kid's free" or "adults play at kids prices" promotion is back? It may be cheaper for you to just buy "regular person" tickets in that case.

I think the blackout price is up to $30, if not $35 now. So if you have 4-5 days, I'd say to upgrade to premium.

Just thought I'd add my .02 about upgrading to Premium -- You'd get better/more discounts on food & merchandise, as well as the parking (as someone mentioned). So depending on how many people are in your party, or how much $ you're planning to spend, you may be able to save quite a bit. :earsgirl:

Thanks! Those are all good points to consider! I'll have to figure everything out on paper. We are going in the summer for sure and my dh and db wants to go for a quick trip after X-mas. We have never been to Disney during the holidays and have always wanted to go. If we can get a good enough deal, than we are going to do it! We are also DVC members. Do you know if there are any deals with that. Of course, all the Disney Resort hotels are full, so we won't be going that route!
Thanks for all of your help!

You can get parking with the deluxes as well, I have it.

You're right, you can get parking w/deluxe. Actually, you can add parking to any of the passes as long as you're willing to pay extra for it. The Premium AP, however, is the only one that includes parking, without it being an 'add-on'.

If my prices are correct:

Deluxe ~ $250 (I think)
Parking ~$ 45 (I think)
Total ~ $295

Premium ~ $350
^ Total ~ $295
Difference $ 55

2 days of blockouts ~ $50, $60 or $70 depending on the current price.

And if you're a DVC member, you get $20 off the price of an AP.
