:3dglasses NEW FOR 2006 EXPADTION: EVEREST. A HIGH SPEED JORUNEY THOUGH THE HIMALAYAS. AT FIRST, IT'S A NICE PEACEFUL RIDE BUT THEN A YETI APPERS OUT OF NOWHERE AND U GO THROUGH A TRACK OF TWISTED METAL :3dglasses

When is it opening? I'm going May 19th, and I hope it's open by then!!

It will definately be open when you go. Grand opening of the attraction is in early April with soft openings before that.

I've been waiting for this ride to open since I heard about it 2 years ago! I'm so psyched about it! It is going to be wicked sweet!

when i was there in july it was being built! Wow...it looks like an awesome ride!

They have started selection for the opening team cast members.
Disney will be holding a grand opening press event on April 6-8. The dates of course remain tentative.

you can get an excellent view of mount everest aka expedition everest. from the top of the chairlift in blizzard beach by teamboat springs and summit plummit. :cold:

I was there not too long ago, it looks almost done. I can't wait until it opens this spring. The town around it looks pretty neat. :bounce:
