Swan discounts in Jan Feb?

Has anyone heard anything about teacher discounts for 06 at the Swan? We are thinking of a Jan 31 - Feb 6 stay. I am trying to decide between the package and booking seperatly at the Swan. If they have the discount we prefer the Swan. Thanks much! :goodvibes

I'm going to be there 1/29-2/2, and as of right now, there are no teacher (Or Entertainment book) discounts for that time period. I have a Disney specialist TA keeping an eye out for one, but from what I understand, that is a heavy convention season for the Swan and Dolphin, so I'm not holding my breath.

Check again. I just got a teacher's discount for March and April. It sounds like they just added more dates with discounts including teacher's.

Can you tell us what the cost was per night with the Teacher's discount and what your dates were? Thanks!

Hi . We are going to S/D from 3/27-4/3 and we got a rate of $175 per night plus tax. Hope that helps.

In addition to calling, check these three sources daily, SPG.COM, SWANDOLPHIN.COM and Dreams Unlimited. Sometimes one will not have a discount for a certain date and another will. This Jan. I got 3 days at Swan through DU and 3 at Dolphin on SWANDOLPHIN.COM. I don't count this as a 'hotel hop' since they're right together. I booked Swan from 3/2 - 3/11 2006 on the SPG.COM site at $175 but I expect to do better for at least some of the days before we go.

Thanks Bill! I called directly 1 800-227-1500 and got the Dolphin for $175 ($195.13 with tax) for all my dates Jan 28 - Feb 5. I also hope it will go down a bit more but if not I am happy with that price. Lets hope for good weather! :sunny:
