Saw a spot on NBC about how EL Al deals with Terrorist, They should know given where they are located. 5 security checks and two undercover sky marshalls. Make sence to me, it will give the public full comfort in flying again with no worries.

I agree we need to get tough like they are....it would make me feel safer...
I think though, now that we know there are crazy people who will DIE for a
cause, I think more of us would be prone to fight back now...I really think if people
think "we may die anyway" they will be more likley to overtake the terrorists
imagine if all the passengers on those plane, even on the smallest flights would have
just rushed the terrorists, even 25 people could have overtaken the # of terrorists
that were on the flight, but I imagine the first two flights, the people just thought that
the planes would be hijacked somewhere else and that they wouldn't be harmed...well now
we all know better and now we are angry so they better watch out!

A few years back, I flew home Orlando/Kennedy on an internal flight, then El Al US to UK>

At El Al check in they asked if I packed my bags myself - Yes.

Had my bages been out of my sight since then? - only during the internal flight.

So they took us into a back room and went through all my bags by hand. They obviously didn't trust security on internal US flights!
