We were in WDW, scheduled to return Sept. 12th on USAirways. We were cancelled a number of times and didn't know when we would be able to fly out of MCO back to PIT. So we rented a car and drove back. Can we get a refund for our return ticket? THX!

Ask the airline. If you don't get a favorable answer, ask again preferably in the form of a letter to higher up.

IMHO in these circumstances you deserve half the fare you paid as a refund, despite the fact that normal one way travel costs twice the typical round trip leisure fare.

yes they are giving refunds for the 2nd half of anunused tkt. they are also giving people credit for them towards another flight in the future.
