Is KSC worth going to if bus tour is not running?

We are planning on going to KSC first week of Oct. If the bus tour is not running is there still enough to see at KSC? Would you still go?

If the main bus tour isn't running, and they are still charging full price, then I think it would be better to wait. The exhibits at the Visitors Center used to be FREE, which gives you some idea of how they stack up in comparison to the bus tour. There are two other bus rides that cost an additional $20, but the main tour is included in the entrance price.

A press release on the Kennedy Space Center site says the park will reopen on the 16th but that the KSC tour will not be offered. Nothing was said about when the tour would resume.

Rats. I already purchased KSC tickets for the 4 of us a while ago. We have been planning to go on Sept 29th. How long are these tickets supposed to last in the event we don't use them? Where ought we go instead?

If anyone hears when the tours are going to reopen, please post, as I think my family will really enjoy KSC.
