I have done both and I would have to say home. This year will be extra special as it is my first with my Fiance living with me. I like to watch the Christmas movies and listen to carols whilst doing dinner. It's just not the same being away unless your in WDW.

I just LOVE Elf at the moment, but Santa Claus the Movie is also great.
Another fave is Muppets Xmas Carol.
I have to watch that every year whilst I put the decs up.

Strangest thing, probably indoor skydiving when I went to Vegas!! I loved it. They have just opened an indoor skydive place near where I live, I think it might become my new hobby!!
Do you like rollerocasters and if so when is your favourite one? I love coasters, I think my favourite coaster is Nemesis at Alton Towers, although after riding Sheik'ra at Busch Gardens this Chrstmas that might be my new favourite!!

I would probably have to say Islands of Adventure as there are more rides that I love there and I prefer the theming. Seuss Landing is a stroke of genius! :cloud9:
What's your favourite season and why? Mine is probably Autumn because of the gorgeous colours you get, and it's not too hot, but not too cold either! Oh, and there is a small matter that my birthday occurs in Autumn. :teeth:

No, unfortunately, I never get bought an Advent calendar (and would feel a bit 'sad' buying myself one). The kids have got at least 3 each though so I may have to help Daniel out with his ;)
If you had £100 right now to spend on anything you like, what would you buy? I would probably treat myself to a really nice outfit to wear to my Christmas party :)

Can I choose the new Cadbury's miniatures, which has chunks of all the different flavour choccies (such as Turkish delight, Mint, Biscuit etc)
If you could spend Christmas anywhere you want in the World, where would it be? For me, I think it would probably be in the middle of the Caribbean on a luxury cruise liner (just like my Dad will be - not that I'm jealous MUCH!!!)

I like going up to the Lake District. A family friend owns a hotel up there. I also go to Manchester quite a bit as my Fiance is from there.

The 70s/80s programmes I remember most were Sapphire and Steel - whenever my Dad was away, Mum used to let me stay up late to watch it. I also used to love Rentaghost (sad, I know :blush: ) and a kids cartoon called Sport Billy. In my defence, I was only 7 when the 80s started :rotfl:
What is your favourite item of clothing that you currently own? Mine is a really lovely dress, which I bought for a wedding a couple of years ago. It's really flattering and I feel like a million dollars when I'm wearing it :teeth:

What's the main thing you really want for Xmas this year?
I would LOVE a trip to WDW, but I think that's out of the question so for me, other than spending a few days relaxing with our families, there are lots of Cd's that I would like, and I would love a detailed map of scotland so I can start planning our trip next year, and a CD player for our new kitchen.

Bambi and The Fox and the Hound make me cry. I remember getting the book of F&TH for my 8th birthday and reading it all in one day and crying so hard. Seems funny now :blush:

I used to but don't bother anymore. Like you said, nobody can wait for Xmas and they get eaten. i remember it was a great game when I was little though to try and steal a choccie and then redo the paper and put it back on the tree empty before my mum realised :rotfl2: She must have known really.
Are you a christmas lunch or christmas dinner person (meaning what sort of time do you eat your Xmas day meal) and why?
I always think its nice to hear other people's Xmas traditions.

Depends where we are spending Xmas.
This year we are starting the day off at my brothers, so pressies there in the morning, popping into DH's family so more pressies there, and ending the day at my parents so more pressies there!! Whoopie.
Do you have little extra pressies during Xmas dinner?
We normally spend £5 on each other extra and give out mini pressies before pudding.

I'll be going to a friends' party this year, which is a big deal for me as last year I had an early night (was on a plane to WDW the next morning!), the year before I was heavily pregnant (DS was born 13th Jan), and the year before I had a terrible tummy bug so was curled up in bed again :confused3

Seen as DH and I host the family Christmas meal we provide the turkey, my mum makes us a cake and my MIL makes us a pudding, so no I personally don't make them but we do eat home made ones.
How many people do you have to cook for on Christmas day? Seen as we are in the middle of the country we have the family over here so we cook for 12!!

What do you drink with your Christmas Lunch? Although I know it's not really the right drink to "go" with Turkey, we always have Champagne.

Seen as I know I will be in WDW next month right now I think I would transport myself to Las Vegas. Nice warm weather and I could just watch the entertainment on the strip (I love the Bellagio dancing fountains, the gondolas on the Grand Canal at the Venetian, the Volcano at the Mirrage and the Pirate Battle outside the Treasure Island.)
When do you plan on putting your Christmas decorations up? I think I will have to do mine next weekend as we are having our family Christmas early due to our trip and 6 family members going to Australia for Christmas.

We have the family over so I tend to get up quite early to make sure the house is ready. This Christmas day my friend and I have a massage booked at Saratoga Springs Spa so I might have a small lie in!

I love snow. I went skiing earlier in the year and absolutley loved it, the snow was fantastic and I couldn't believe the buzz that you get when you are flying down the side of a mountain.

No, none of our neighbours have Christmas Decs up yet, although there is a guy who lives in the same street as my DPILs who keeps his Christmas decs up all year round. He only switches his lights on in December though - lol!

Seven cards so far......a little worrying seen as I haven't even bought mine yet (let alone written and posted them!).

We had one this week - I can't believe they are starting in November.

Are you a pool or sea person? Sea for me every time - how can you see anything when snorkelling in a pool!!! :rotfl:

Have you got all your Christmas shopping done yet? We are having our family Christmas meal in 2 weeks time as we will be in WDW for Christmas and other family members are going to Australia so my Christmas shopping is all done, wrapped and the turkey is in the freezer.

I like London as I love the shopping, museums and the ablity to see lots of shows. I like Paris too. I love Las Vegas, but I don't think thats a city!!

Mine will be filled with fake Disney snow! Although it is supposed to snow over night tonight here but so far we have escaped the snow.
What country would you like to visit that you have not yet been to? I want to visit Australia (which we plan to do in a few years time as I have family there and my SIL is marrying an Auzie in 3 weeks time!)

Usually get up about an hour later on a Saturday and a couple of hours later on a Sunday.

We've only stayed at the All Stars Resorts, so I'd have to say the All Star Sports, though we're looking forward to the Pop Century in 3 weeks time. If I won the lottery I'd stay in the Contemporary Resort.
