Well I've always hated school. The only thing I like about this year is now I go from period 0-5 instead of 1-8, so I get out at 12:00 now.

Hey! My school has been going well, so far. I've been trying real hard to keep up my grades this year. (My sibs & I have been promised a trip to Disneyland if we have good grades this year...so I'm working pretty hard!) I have some awfully neat teachers this year and I've been having a lot of fun so far!

I've got an easy year and grades are outstanding as usual......:D Seriously I'm doing great and I need those A's so I look good for college apps!

It's okay for me... I don't like it but that's just cuz I don't like school in general. Most of my classes are okay but they're really boring. Spanish is my favorite class because it's really easy and my teacher is really nice.:) A lot of my other teachers are reeeally weird though. and I'm always really tired and kinda overwhelmed by homework cuz I leave for school at 6:45 and don't get home until 4. (Marching band isn't over until 3:30) But so far I have A's in all my classes, so I guess school is going pretty good.

I agree with DaC....this is going to be a hard year academically, physically, and emotionally for me as well. I am in very tough classes this year, and due to these, plus my extracurricular activities, I become physically worn out and emotionally drained. I don't know how many of you experience this, but about once a year, I can count on a "breakdown." I just lose it, need a day or two of crying and letting out the pressure and stress. My friends and I challenge ourselves, which leads to much stress - we all go through the "breakdown" process. I had my AP Bio teacher even make us try to promise him - no breakdowns before April. I know this must seem strange to some of you - but the students in honors and AP classes at my school take school seriously - and so do I. (Sometimes too seriously.)

Anyways, this week has not been tough academically really (school just started), but due to Tuesday's tragedies - emotionally I am completely wiped out. Now I get to prepare myself for a weekend of homework to catch up on all the studying I skipped while watching the news and praying and mourning during the week.

I really like school this year. I am not as shy as I was last year. I'm looking forward to only a half a year of math, that we I can do other things in spring.

College is going great!!:D

For the first few days it was really hard, it was so big and I didn't know anyone, but now I've been there a week and made friends, I'm really enjoying it. I've even met a boy who's (almost) as Disney mad as me :) .

There's so much work though.......

So far so good :p I like most of my classes except Marine Biology which is extremely boring.

<font color=blueviolet size=4>I totally agree w/Norah & Carrie!! Although my classes aren't as tough as I thought they would be, it's been a pretty stressful couple of weeks. My best friend (of 14 years) & I are severely drifting apart (which is tearing me apart b/c it's her fault), I failed my driving test, I got sick and I've had field hockey almost everyday after school WHILE being sick (which just makes me worse), & with all the sadness going on in NY & Washington & all over the US... it's just so emotionally trying... :( One of my classes is peer tutoring, which is when you just go into a younger, applied level class & just help them w/their work & stuff... anyways, the class I have to do is ninth grade applied french... it's HORRIBLE!! These kids have no respect for the teacher, they're immature & they don't know how to just SHUT UP!! ARGHHH! If I were the teacher I think i'd be on the edge of a breakdown... sometimes I just dont' know how teachers do it!

King Kobra: You have a marine biology class @ your school?? That's awesome! (even though you may find it boring hehehe)

Aaahhggg! I have changed my mine! It has got worse!!!

I am so far in math have a 70, 100, 76 never had that low of a score. Yikes!

I am doing not too good in math (Algebra 2 honors) too! I got a 76 on my first test...I normally get a 95 average! But almost everyone did bad on the first test...so I am not that worried! But we had a pop quiz today! I think I did ok, but....we will see lol. Other then that, school has been pretty easy so far....I haven't started preparing for my Model United Nations conferences which take up most of my time during the year though.

<font color=blueviolet size=4>I know how ya feel Carrie! I'm taking finite (not sure how to explain it) & my first test I got like 83 on it (which isn't really bad... but i can do better). I just did a quest (which is longer than a quiz and shorter than a test) on Tuesday and I got 95% on it! :)

I guess a lot of people aren't doing too well on their first tests and quizzes. I'm usually a straight A student and on my first Visual Basic quiz I didn't even finish half the test so I obviously failed. And I got an 82 on my first psychology quiz and a 74 on my first test! Oh well, we still have the whole marking period, so I can do better hopefully!

Things are starting to get better. I'm mad though......the school originally wanted to do a play cared Thurbur Carnival Tales but due to some sezuality, crude humor, violence, and swears they decided to replace with Our Town which is so dull compared to the original.

And I thought school was supposed to be fun.
