This is NOT a poll, because the Dole Whip would crush the competition, so pick something different!

My favorite snack is the jalapeno and cheese filled pretzels! They sell them at the cart across from the Golden Horseshoe. If anyone knows where else I can get them, please let me know!

What's your favorite snack?

Well, with the Dole Float excluded, it would be the Hunny Pot Caramel Apple at Pooh's Corner. I also love mint juleps at New Orleans Square. The popcorn in the stands around Main Street and New Orleans is also pretty good--reminds me of movie popcorn :earsgirl:

Oh gosh, just remembered DCA, because I think the food is better over there. Is it okay to include snacks from there? Anyway, then it would DEFINITELY be the Catch A Flave Ice Cream with Praline swirl--awesome. The lemon is also good (depends on what I'm in the mood for! :sunny: ). I love the free tortillas from the Monterey area, and the full throttle fries from the Pilot Grill (chili, cheese, sour cream, onions, waffle fries..yum). Oh, and the nachos at the Grand Californian's Whitewater snacks..... but enough for now, or I'm going to have to get in my car and make a trip over there! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I dont remember the name of it.
It is in that train car kind of place at the beginning of California Adventure. We had some awesome ice cream there. It had brownie, and sugar cone and chocolate and mmmmmmmmm it was sooooo good!!

We have not been to DL & DCA in 2+ years and will be going in March.
How do I print it out to save it?

Thanks :mickeybar

My favorite is the Nestle Ice Cream Cookie sandwich from the ice cream vendor carts. Those are soooo good! You can buy them at the local supermarket but those are chocolate coated. I prefer just the ice cream and cookie...nothing else!

With Dole Whip off the list and the Beignet stand closed the last couple of times I visted, I'll have to go with the rocky road fudge from the Main Street Candy Store. Sadly, I'm dieting now and am forced to bypass this wonderful treat. :sad1:

Do you mean "beignets" from Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen? If so, I have to agree! Those are good, too!

Tiggersis, the beignets are in DL in New Orleans. That sounds so good right now! :Pinkbounc

I agree that it is strange to have chimichanga's and turkey legs in the same wagon. :) It still will draw my family to it. When we first discovered Turkey Legs in WDW, they did not mix the chimi with the turkey legs. I wonder if we will discover that they do now when we go there next summer.

I now want to try a Beignet in Down Town Disney. Are they anything like Cafe Dumonde's in New Orleans? I also love the hot popcorn, when it is JUST popped!

I have one daughter who loves the chocolate covered bananas

One who LOVES the rock candy in the plastic cubes and can only find it in DL.

And everyone but me is a fan of the churro. There used to be a Fantasy Punch or something that they served over ice years ago. It tastes alot like minute maid fruit punch and that was always a favorite of mine. After all of these years we FINALLY tried the dole whip and became instant fans.

I am hungry now. :rotfl: Fun thread though! 4 days to go for us! :Pinkbounc

Thank goodness we're not eating hot bengay!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: After that, you wouldn't be able to taste the Dole Whip!

Every morning I get a chocolate croissant from the bakeries at DL or DCA. I dont' get ANYTHING for DH or the kids---free cont. breakfast from the hotel is good enough for them! :rotfl2:

It's all about the fritters with what my boyfriend lovingly calls, "Sugar paste".

It's fried dough, like a beignet, but fluffier and topped with crystalized sugar and cinnamon, served with the apple pudding "sugar paste." that isn't that sweet, and I could eat it all alone.

These are the versions of beignets that are served *in* the park at both the Mint Julep Bar and the Chowder window in New orleans.

3 fritters for $3.49 last I checked.

The Dole Whips are located at a stand outside of the Tiki Room. I haven't had a churro in a long time, though they're delish. I like the Mickey ice cream sandwiches. Those are really good.

I haven't tried some of these treats before, though. Looks like I need to take another trip to DL. :)

Boy, just reading this thread makes me realize how much I missed last time! I tried to get a Dole Whip around 7:00pm, but they were sold out. Maybe next time. My favorite was the sticky bun from Blue Ribbon Bakery.
