MCO Airport Hotel?

I will be needing a room for 2 adults and 2 children for one night before our cruise in April and for one night after our cruise. I would like something really close to MCO as our flights will be in late/leaving early. I was thinking about using Priceline. Anyone have any luck with them?

I've used priceline many times for this very reason. One year we were VERY lucky and got the Hyatt hotel (which is the one located inside MCO aiport). It was wonderful, but I haven't seen this hotel come up again recently. On other trips, we've bid for 2 star and 3 star hotels in the airport area and have been satisfied everytime.

Just a FYI - if you book for a 3 star resort in the MCO area, I believe all the hotels have 24hr free shuttle service to the airport. If you go lower than a 3 star (as we did with the airport La Quinta West which is a 2*), they don't offer 24hr shuttle service so you'd need a car or take a cab.

Last year I bid on a 3* thru Priceline and got the Crowne Plaza. It had a airport shuttle and since they're 5 min. from the airport, it was VERY convenient.

That's good to know! I'm going to try Priceline. I think I have my strategy worked out from betterbidding! I guess I have to wait until a little closer to my time to start bidding. I'm going to try for a 3* in the MCO area.
