Thinking about booking through AAA for the first time. How much is the deposit? When is final payment due? I've only booked through CRO before and had the $200 deposit and final payment 45 days out. Just wondering how AAA works it.
Also reading some things about bonuses for 2006 packages???? Anyone booked a fall 2006 package through AAA? Did you get any additional bonuses?

AAA does not have any rules for them self on WDW packages. All the rules they have ARE WDW rules. So any thing that CRO has told you in the past will be the same if you book through AAA.
What they do add are things like their diamond card that gives you various discounts, a special parking pass and a coupon for a soft drink at AAA lounge in MK.

I was told by my AAA TA that there is also a Storybook Reading with a Princess and some sort of Planet Hollywood discount.

Yes there is. It is pretty new too. I keep seeing new additions on itineraries that are getting sent over to me. Well worth it, I think!

Are these new additions for the 2006 packages or are 2005 packages able to get them? Any information on the new things would be greatly appreciated.

I see I have sparked an interest here! hahaha!! It just seems that everytime I have a clients itinerary faxed over to me there is something new. For the most part it is just what is on the link listed above. One that isnt listed there and I havent seen it on my clients itineraries but I have seen it on others is Disney Dollars. I have no idea why though. :confused3

We also have booked a package w/ dining. I don't understand what that means either.
Quick question to anyone who knows what is the preferred fireworks viewing area? It says reservations required. Do you make those reservations through AAA or Disney. I plan on calling my TA but she is out of the office until Mon. afternoon. Thanks.

My questions are along the same line. If we booked package already, are we still entitled to the new features such as the Planet Hollywood & special seating for fireworks?
Does anyone know what selected packages & what selected booking method qualify (as specificed on AAA website)?

So, are they having the story reading in the AAA lounge instead of the soft drink? Is the fireworks locations for alll MYW packages or just Platinum and Premium? Does anybody have the voucher for Planet Hollywoood yet? Is it for a set dollar amt. or a set entree? I guess we'll have to book soon for June 2006 or will I be ok waiting until January?

BTW, the Planet Hollywood special is available on ALL MYW packages, not only AAA.

I asked AAA for a quote this weekend for a six night package with hopper tickets. Here is all they gave me as additional benefits. I do not see anything about preferred spot for fireworks, etc...
